Bria's POV

I woke up to a empty bed beside me.

Don't tell me he's gone to work

So I called his phone

"Hello"

"Where are you?'' I asked

"Umm..work" he said in a duh tone

"Isn't that great" i said sarcastically

"What's wrong?"

"WHAT'S WRONG? We had sex last night James and you're pretending like nothing happened and to be frank with you NOTHING HAS CHANGED. I wanted everything to go back to normal."

"Well it can't, I have cancer"

"Yeah but you're getting better"

"I'm not! What's wrong with you?? I've had chemotherapy for a long while and I still haven't gotten my results, you think sex is gonna cure me?"

"James, that wasn't my intention''

"It doesn't matter, I have a mission to go on anyway, can we talk later?

"A mission? As in fighting with another gang?"

"Yep" he said simply

"You know you're not suppose to be active like that, worst a fight! are you crazy, they have guns and other dangerous weapons. You could die!!" I shouted

"Calm down babe"

"Don't you dare tell me to calm down, how can you do this to yourself?"

"I'm doing it for you!"

"For me!??"

"Yeah"

"How is that for me?''

"He's the leader of the gang that wants you dead Bria, I have to get rid of him"

"But can't you send your men and you stay here?"

"What? No way"

"Why not"

"Cause its not me"

"To be exact about this, you haven't been yourself lately."

"*sigh* I'll be gone for 3 days ok"

"why so long?"

"The gangleader lives far away and we have alot of places to destroy"

"So you're saying you're going away for 3 days and if i didn't call you, you wouldn't tell me"

"Ofcourse I would"

"Suurree, you're making a mistake James"

"And you're so perfect right"

"Why are you acting like this?"

"YOU CAN'T SOLVE EVERYBODY'S PROBLEM OKAY! YOU ARE A MESS SO MAYBE YOU NEED TO SOLVE YOUR OWN PROBLEMS!"

I can't take this anymore, i started crying over the phone.

"Babe please don't cry, I'm sor-"
