"Baby," I whisper, her eyes closed as she sleeps. She turns her head to look at me and I grab her hand, her eyes opening to look at me.

"We're home," I tell her, her lips curving. I get out of the car and move to her door, opening it. I watch as her skinny legs maneuver out of the car, her hands holding mine. Then she jumps up and wraps her legs around my waist.

"Don't let me go," she whispers, my lips pressing to her neck. I carry her up to my place and she stays on my body, her hand holding my neck.

"You want to go to bed?" I ask, knowing the new pain meds they are having her take make her drowsy.

"Yes, please," she pouts, but she kisses my cheek. "Only if you join me. Because it's our bed."

"Oh, fuck, don't say that yet," I say, her lips curving against my cheek.

"Why?" she whispers, her lips pressing to my jaw. "Turn you on?"

"Allie, you are just getting home after being in a coma for months. No," I say, her pout growing. But I refuse. As much as I want to, I will not let her hurt herself.

"I wanna make love," she says, my head shaking. She pushes out her lower lip and I bite it lightly, getting her to smile.

"You need to rest and we'll see where you are soon," I say, her eyes closing.

I lay her down and remove my shoes and prosthetic, laying down beside her. She curls into my side and starts to kiss my neck, my eyes closing and lips curving.

"You bugger," I sigh, her laugh so perfect.

"I'm so in love with you that my mind is literally only on you," she whispers, kissing my earlobe. She sets her hand on my stomach and she sighs, my hand setting over hers.

"I want you to know something. Something I've thought about for a while," I start, her head nodding as she stays content beside me.

"So I spent every day just watching you, thinking about what we are," I begin, nervous that if I keep going I'll end up doing something like proposing to her. As sad as it is, I had bought a ring. I bought it on one of my bad days and I felt like I had nothing else to hold onto than the thought that I'd have Allie for the rest of my life.

"I want you to know that I want you in my future," I tell her, her hand holding my thumb.

"Forever and ever?" she wonders, making me smile.

"Of course. You have no idea how horrified I was when I was told you were placed on life support," I tell her, her hand moving to brush through my hair. She leans up so she can look down at me.

"My dad told me he had to hold your shoulders," she says, my head nodding.

"I broke down. I buried my head in your neck and cried. I just wanted you to be okay," I explain, her nose brushing mine.

"I'd like to think that your persistence was what gave me the extra boost to wake up," she whispers, my hand moving over her bottom and bringing her closer.

"All for you," she whispers against my lips. We kiss and I close my eyes, wanting nothing more than to keep her. Fuck, I should go for it.

As we kiss, I build myself up and bring my arm to wrap around her. "Let me take you somewhere, unless you're tired," I say, her head nodding.

"I'm okay. Let's go," she says, my hands helping her up. I get my prosthetic back on and I open my bedside drawer, grabbing my phone and the ring carefully. I walk out to her and she looks up, smiling at me. Her skinny body is taken in my arms and I guide her downstairs, walking with her down the street.

"Where to?" she asks, my lips pressing to her temple.

"There's a gallery down here. Let's go check it out," I suggest, her smile bright. She agrees and we walk into the gallery, her hand holding mine tightly. There are a few people around and she starts looking around, her fascination to the art allowing me to know that this is her passion.

"You still want to take those classes?" I ask, her acceptance into the Art Institute making her extremely happy when I had brought her packets to the hospital for her.

"I'd love to really work and master my skills. I just love doing this," she says, my arms keeping her close. We start walking around more, my arms wrapping around her from behind as we look.

She then smiles when she sees one of the paintings I had sold to this place, her body turning.

"Look at this," she smiles, walking over to the wall. It's the one painting I had made after meeting her, the picture of a face with a sky depicted in the eyes, her hair rays of sunshine.

"I've never seen this one," she says, my lips smirking.

"I sold it here before our little fun in my art room," I remind her, her cheeks flushing. I walk up behind her and she brushes her thumb over my name on the plaque.

"Made this when I first met you," I say, her head turning to look at me.

"Look at the title," I say, her head swiveling to look back at it.

'The Girl With the Sky in her Eyes' - I don't know what else I could have possibly named it. She has the most beautiful eyes; Allie is gorgeous.

"Harry," she says, turning to look at me. But that's when I get down on my good knee, her eyes widening. But I see tears forming in her eyes, her hand covering mine.

"You've become my muse, my happiness, my second chance, but most of all, you've become my heart, Allie," I start, her hand tightening around mine.

"Since your accident, this is what I truly was thinking about and I just want you to know that by no means do I expect anything to be rushed from now on, because I want you to still live the life you want," I state, her eyes releasing so many tears.

"Will you marry me, Allie? Be with me forever?" I ask, moving my hand to my pocket and opening the box. She gasps and I take it out, my eyes looking back up at her.

"Oh my God," she cries out, her hands grabbing my cheeks. She leans down and kisses me, my hands grabbing her waist.

"Yes, baby. A million times, yes," she breathes against my lips, kissing me more. I smile and pull away, grabbing her left hand in mine. I move the ring on her finger and she helps me stand back up, her arms wrapping around my neck and mine around her waist.

"I promise to stay by your side, no matter what," I say, her lips pressing to mine.

"And I will love you to the end of the earth forever," she whispers, making me smile. It doesn't matter that we're standing in the middle of an art gallery.

Nothing matters anymore, because I get to have Allie for the rest of my life.
