Everyone in the room starts to discuss Johanna's warning. To Prim and I, it's clear that we'll be attacked tomorrow morning. I have no idea what part of "you'll all be dead by morning" Coin doesn't understand but she just won't cooperate. She's unsure about it, and so are her lackeys.

"C'mon, he's being beaten into a bloody pulp! Rory? Prim?"

He calls for support, and support we do. We're awesome as a team now, finishing each other's sentences and working together to support Haymitch. Coin finally let's in. But she doesn't seem shocked at all that her district is going to be bombed. She just seems...amused, by the turn of events. She calls for a Level Five security drill and proceeds with a lockdown.

I've been in two low-level drills since we came. They weren't the most exciting but the experience sure is important now. Everyone starts filing into one long line, wordlessly, and following the protocol down to the bone. Piercing sirens ring throughout and fill me with fear, then there's that small thing called I-think-my-eardrums-are-about-to-explode.

If this were Twelve, people would panic and be thrown into a frenzy. But this is Thirteen. That just doesn't happen. I watch as even the children cooperate and follow their families without making a fuss.

Seeing the families, I start looking around for mine, but they are nowhere to be spotted. Prim tells me she wants to join her mom in the hospital, and says she'll see my later. I'm reluctant to let her go but I know I'll see her downstairs.

I start heading down, ears popping and eyes starting to feel heavy. I'm joined by Finnick, and the two of us walk side by side. A shiver runs down my spine as I think of Dad, who died underground in the mines. The only good thing about going down further is the sirens. They get softer and softer with each and every step, almost like they're driving us away down into the earth. Maybe that's what they're supposed to do.

When we reach the end of the stairs, we enter a large cavern. I wave my schedule in front of a scanner. That's what everyone else is doing. The information from the scan probably helps keep track of people.

"Woah," I say as we enter the big area where we'll probably spend a significant amount of time. It seems equally man made and nature. Some parts are stone, while there are steel beams and concrete reinforcements here and there. The sleeping bunks are hewn into the rock walls themselves. The cool thing is that they've got everything: kitchens, bathrooms, first aid stations...It's clear that it was built for a long stay.

Across the walls there are white signs with letters and numbers at intervals. I'm starting to wonder what they mean when Boggs tells Finnick and I to report to our assigned quarters.

That means Compartment E for me.

"Have any of you seen Prim?" Plutarch asks, swinging in. He still seems happy from the Airtime Assault. The drill hasn't done much to change his mood. When Finnick and I shake our heads, he tells us, "Well Rory, it's just a simple message for the Mockingjays. You are an example. Tell Prim too when you see her. Be calm and strong for everyone else!"

Compartment E is a large open area between compartments D and F. There are a bunch of lines painted on the floor, going both vertically and horizontally so that it resembles a chess board. The lines cut the area up into 4 by 4 meter squares of stone. Each looks identical to the next and so I head over and choose one for myself. There, I find a sheet with the words BUNKER PROTOCOL written on the top. I start at section 1, On Arrival.

1. Make sure people from your Compartment are accounted for.

I'm one of the first here. Mom, Vick and Posy should be arriving soon.
