22. too hot

i've seen a lot of writers doing these things later. i'm not exactly happy to be doing it either but i've noticed a HUGE increase in the amount of votes/comments, i know it is related to the fact that i take ages to update but i had almost 4k views on the last chapter and 200 votes (which is fucking great!!!), there is a huge gap!! all i am asking is, if you like the story enough to be reading til the twenty second chapter please take a few seconds to click the vote button and even leave a nice comment idk man. not trying to sound like an ungrateful brat or anything bc i am soso happy with the recognition my books have and i dont write for the votes or comments but its definitely nice to get some positive feedback which has been decreasing.

when i asked you guys to give me motivation to update once a week there was a comment like "if portugal can win the euro u can update once a week" NOT SURE WHO IT WAS BUT I LOVED OK AND YES IM STILL LIVING THE HYPE OF PORTUGAL WINNING THE EURO LEMME BE HAPPY IT WAS OUR FIRST TIME

Luke was constantly busy, the album was coming together and they even had some small shows here and there. Meanwhile, Ree found a job at a small café close to her apartment. The days seemed to fly by when they were together, Luke had been staying at Ree's most of the time. The two kids acted like an old married couple but they were beyond happy. Luke didn't feel the need to hide his medication from Ree anymore and, surprisingly, the girl had been sleeping more and more each night.

"Baby?" Luke speaks loudly as he opens the door to her apartment.

He hears the piano stop abruptly. "Hey, Luke." Ree walks to him and pecks his lips.

Her shift ended an hour ago and her fingers were itching to touch the piano tiles ever since she left the café

Luke kicks a toy box that was till on the ground after Skylar left it there when she opened it on her birthday. "We gotta clean up, look at this mess." Skylar's birthday happened a week or so before and a bunch of wrapping paper was still on the floor. Ash and Michael came over to celebrate however Calum couldn't make it which saddened the little girl since deep down he was her favorite.

"I know, we'll do it tonight, I've been so lazy." Ree cuddles into Luke's arm as they sit on the small couch. The past week and a half since the incident at the club both of them had been exhausted; Ree was getting used to working and not sleeping much and Luke was getting up early everyday to be at the studio, when he got home all he wanted to do was cuddle and kiss the beautiful girl that always waited for him no matter how late he got home.

Back in the days when Luke used to get pissed drunk every night only to bring home someone who felt just as lonely as him he wondered that if he ever settled down would he miss the life he had before. The answer is no. He loved what he had with Ree, he loved the feeling of having someone. Before, Luke felt like he was having fun; I mean, he was getting drunk and having sex almost every single night, isn't that what fun is to a young adult? The answer, once again, is no. The fake feeling of temporary happiness he had before was induced by the alcohol in his veins. Every time he woke up, he felt empty. The bed felt cold and his heart was even colder. Deep down, he always wanted to settle down he just didn't know it.

Luke's fingertips ran up and down the girl's arms, they sat in silence simply appreciating each other's company. However, the silence was interrupted by Luke.

"My brother's getting married, he sent the invitation a couple weeks ago, I have to return it in two days and I have to decide if I check the plus one box or not." Luke chips in and sends Ree a sly grin.

"What are you implying, Luke Robert Hemmings?"

"Do you want to be my plus one? Well, besides my daughter of course, but Jack sent her her own invitation." Luke chuckles and plays with her messy curls.

"Oh, so, we're that serious?" Ree's joking tone of voice made Luke smile.

"I mean, we've been unofficially living together for almost two weeks, it's been going amazing so far," The boy scratched his beard and licked his lips when something else came up to his mind. "Not to mention you almost gave me a blowjob during one of our heated make out-"

"Shh, Luke, don't talk about that." Ree giggles and covers Luke's mouth with her hand. The girl shrieks and takes her hand away after Luke licks it. "Babe, that's disgusting!"

"You didn't think it was disgusting when I was licking your-"

"Luke!"

Luke throws his head back as loud laughs leave his lips after looking at Ree's flaming cheeks. "Fine, fine, I'll stop." He says before poking her cute little nose. "Only, if you give me a kiss though."

The girl smiles and scoots up slightly before pressing her lips to Luke's. The peck quickly became something more and their lips started moving faster and more hotly.

This often happened, the sexual tension between the two kept growing with each day but they wanted to make things right. Hell, they weren't even officially dating. But this time, Ree wanted to do something this time, she almost needed it.

Her lips leave hot kisses down Luke's neck and his hands grip the couch. Ree sucks harshly but not too harshly at that particular spot she knows that will get Luke shaking. And just like that, Luke's lips let a broken moan slip past them. 

Ree couldn't fight the cocky smile that made its way to her lips. She had Luke how she wanted him. Her plump lips that Luke had learned to love travelled down his neck and bit down on the top of his shirt. 

"I want it off. 'M gonna make you feel good." Her words fell from her lips and Luke felt the hot air from her breath hit his neck making goosebumps appear.

"Babygirl, wait-fuck, wait." Luke's voice cracks and his hand grab the back of Ree's neck, his thumbs caressing her chubby cheeks. Her brown eyes her open wide and her hands are still fumbling around with Luke's shirt. "I really want to, believe me, I want to pin you against this fucking couch, God, Ree you have no idea, the things I'd do to you. But I have a plan, it's gonna be amazing, I promise. I'll make this oficial and then we'll have the best sex ever, I'll make you feel so-"

"I got it, Luke. I'm counting down the goddamn minutes." The girl groans and throws herself back on the couch.  

"Don't be like that. I'm trying to get some of this relationship shit right for once in my life." Luke gives her a small smile and pecks her cheek.

"I know, you're just too hot to be around 24/7."
