* The Magician's Secret*

Sitting at the kitchen table was nothing new. However, staring at my new deck was another. It still ate at my mind. Who would be kind enough to send me a deck , and tell me I will like it without a doubt.

I quickly took my deck box that was attached to my side. Sticking a paper separator behind my Crystal beast deck. I slid in my new Spell caster deck behind. *Ggggrrrmm.* My stomach made the most unsightly noise.


"! Oh, I must be getting hungry..." I looked up to the fridge. It was time to cook something yummy but simple. Out of Bakura's fridge. I slowly stood to my feet, grasping at all the energy I had left. I stood up.

My leg hurt, but I was well enough to walk four steps ahead to feed myself. At least that's what I thought.

* Click * I swung the fridge door open faced with a assortment of vegetables, and meat. Along with a chocolate cake. I felt bad for even going near the cake. It was most likely a special reason it was there. ( So...I better not touch it...)

After standing on my sore fuzzy slipper less feet. I slowly walked back making a nice bowel of soup. Soup was like magic from colds or just wanting something filling as hell if one eats enough of it it was perfect.

There was a sound at the door. Making me almost jump from my skin. I snapped my head to the door. Only to see a familiar face.

" Oh, hi___." Bakura greeted.

"Hello."I smiled at him from my seet. " So I guess you feel better?" He walked over to me. Dressed in that light blue jacket. I nod."Yes." I didn't want to cause him anymore of a I convince so I kept quiet about my leg.
"I got news for you." He smiled at me, those chocolate eyes of his where pleasant. I listened carefully.

" I ended up ...visiting Kaiba Corp.". My heart sped up a little. It was beginning to already make me nervouse.

" I delivered the coffee you needed up saying in you're message to you're boss Kaiba." * Thump thump thump*
" After explaining what happened, he was actually........quite shocked."

"!!!!" I gasped a little."Shocked?"
Bakura nods, as he sat across the table from me." He wanted to say, he hasn't fired you, and will let this issue drop. However, when I first told Kaiba I realized his eyes sort of widen." Bakura paused, as he crossed his leg.

" Knowing him for a quite number of years, in my life iv never seen such a look on his face, when I showed him the proof of you're text."

( So at first he wanted to fire me..., he must of been so angry..)
" That's just it, he wasn't angry." My heart skipped a beat, at Bakura's words.
" I gave him you're number since he was a boss who requested it. He did say though.(" Don't think this means I will talk to her.")"

"I see, thank you Bakura. Is it okay if I go for a little walk?" I began to finish the last of my large bowel of soup. " a-are you sure you are well enough to be out? I mean..... you're leg must hurt..." He looked down a little, I watched his snow like hair fall a little to the side.

" Don't worry I won't be far. I just can't be in the house for ever." Alright then just be careful, when you come back we can have cake." He smiled at me. " Sure, that would be nice." I stood up. Still ignoring the pain. I bit down onmy tongue a little." Well I'll be back. I smiled. Putting my deck back in my belt. Grabbing my coat I found in the close there another of his hung. I made my exit.



I made my way over to a much smaller park, next to a tall clock that stood high. There were a few good quiet spots for one to think. It was warm outside, with my coat on. However, without it it would be cooler, since fall was here.

I felt a sudden little sting. *Zap!*

(!! ah..) Winced a little, feeling a electric shock bite down, into what felt like it hit my bone.

Thankfully I was next to a bench, so I fell back into one. To anyone it would see I just say down. However, this was much different I was grimacing in striking pain to myself.

(Damn...it hurts...... kkh...maybe I should of never left.)

I see two people walk by. I shoot myself up straight, grabbing my phone. Predending I'm reading something.

* Bzzt bzzzt*
" Oh hell?...........Hi.......you know I was just going to call you........." The stranger walked by, while on his phone. I watched them leave from the corner of my eye.


(Kgh....come on hurry up....please go... So I spare you from seeing me like this..)

Leaving at a good distance. I slump back down in my seat. " Ugh..........finally.." I open up my deck box, and pull out two cards. It was the Dark Magician, and Dark Magician Girl.

I bring them into my lap, putting my back back into its safe box.

"....." I didn't want to start talking to them, because people here would see he talking to air. It worried me, waht if I said soemthing to offend the two magicians? I didn't even them know them personally.(...maybe the time isn't right..) "!!" I wanted to yell at myself for even thinking.

I was lost in my own blank mind. When out of no where, I was called to.


"...Hello, might you're name be ____ ____?"
"?" I stiffen slightly at this voice, if it was some one to harm me while I was down. I would be in big trouble.
I turn my head to look who has just called my attention.
My eyes met with kinda blue ones. Keeping calm, as it might of been a mistake. I replied, to the oddly dressed man in dark blue, and crimson red. " Y-yes, do you need help with something?" Being totally clueless, a smile came on the young man's face.

"Well then this must be you. For you have replied to my call."

"!!!!??" ( EEEHHH??!) I yelled inside my mind. This guy looked strangely familiar, it was shocking. I quickly looked down at my card. Then snapped my head up. My eyes widen, and then snap back down once again to my card. ( N-nooo.....way....) He looked exactly like my Dark Magician, he must be a hell of a good cosplayer or something. He looked soo solid.

"Ah um....something the matter_____?"
I snapped back up to the voice. " _-____? you say you know me..?"
He stepped back in surprise. His ocean blue eyes wide. That unmistakable hair that looked so soft. However, it was blonde.

"Well....I know you're name from a friend of mine. Other wise I don't know that much about you...." He looked down a little. (! he....looks so..........cute.......)

"Ah thank....you..." He replied.

( * COugh* W-what!! since when he read my mind!!?)

" L-let me explain...please......lady..____"

"You have 5 minuets...."

He nods. "Well, see I was sent to you by a friend, who you seem to have no memory of. You have know him since you where little. However, something has caused you're memory to be blocked. I'm sorry....to not wanting to cause any confusion I can't say his name. You must figure that out on you're own."

"....M-my friend...? I lost my memory of him.....?"
The man who looked like the Dark Magician nods. " WAit.....hold it.!" His eyes widen at my tone." You said sent..? I heard you right." I shook my hair." That means........!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!" I looked down at my card. ( W_WHAT Don't tell me he is ... T_THAT! this is...M-n-m-m-mMY! )

"A in fact lady _____ I'am, indeed you're Magician." Not being able to take much more of this, I slumped back onto the bench.

"! are you alright!?" Dark Magician called, stepping closer to me. "Y-yes I'm fine, just surprised.............." ( He must of heard my words......)
"Y-yes...I thought it was about time to tell you. Don't worry people can't see me. I'm a duel spirit after all." He smiled.

" I should shut up now......"

"Mh..lady..???" He questioned. ( People here can still here me!! ) I zip my head left and right.
"!!!!!!!!!!!!"

"Don't worry, no one was close enough to hear you speak." He slowly made his way next to me, on the bench. Then looked at me, with those deep blue orbs of his. I looked up seeing his large pointy hat, I always dreamed to see up close. " ...so...you ..have blonde hair..."

He nod shyly." Yes, looks familiar doesn't it?" I nod.
" The one I knew had dark black mixed violet, and purple armour, with rose coloured lines."

"Yes you are right, he is a close friend of mine. Also his master is you're friend as well." * T-thump th-thump* My heart pounded against my chest. I was remembering more and more. " Well.....Dark Magician was always my favourite......"

"I feel honoured to hear that lady _____."

"Oh..! that reminds me." I looked down at the Dark Magician Girl's card." If you're hear then she is too."
Then right in front of my eyes, in a glint of pink. I see her standing in front of me. Looking just as human as Dark did.

The blonde girl, with emerald eyes, dressed in light blue and pink amour smiled at me." It's nice to finally meet you____."
"Waah....! me too...!"

"Hey, Magician Girl don't cause _____ too much trouble. She is his friend you know. The Dark Magician in purple and his master wouldn't be happy knowing we did that to their precious friend." Dark looked at the Magician girl, with a stern look.

"HAhahah...!! you know you're soo funny right!!" She giggled back, twirling her wand. "Hehe......heh....." I giggled.

"...dear....Ra....you two are...to alike....." Dark sighed. He was not fond of being made fun of. "Tehehe....Don't take it to heart Dark." I smiled at him. "B-but....its our duty to protect you..?"
"SO! fun dosn't hurt! now dose it?"

He shook his blonde locks. " No it doesn't."

"Well see you later you two. I have something to do!" Dark Magician Girl waved off, vanishing back into my deck.

"Oh...? wonder what she has to do..?"

"Who knows....It's not like I live with her." That made me giggle once again.

I looked down at my leg. ".........." It was time I headed back, Bakura would get worried if I left too long.
I slowly began to stand up. My jacket swayed a little. Then a sudden pain zapped me yet again. "!!!" ( MH..! ) I began to sway falling to the side.

"Lady _____!!!" *Thump*

I felt myself get grabbed. Keeping me steady." Are you alright..????" He looked down at me, with worried blue orbs. He was close to me. To anyone who couldn't see duel spirits, it would seem I was standing looking down at something. "...Y-yeah...I will live.." I tried to move my leg.

"Ngh...!" He pulled me back a little. "When did this happen?" His words were a little stern, and protective.

(Yesterday.....Some stupid guys attacked me...)
I felt Dark tense from behind me. "Well.. I will not allow you to walk around so injured. " He lowered me down onto the bench.
"B-but I need to go back Bakura's house."
"Not until I see how it looks." He pulled off his tall dark blue hat, and set it down next to him on the ground. I watched has his long golden locks fall out onto his shoulder. He wouldn't even say another word. Even if I spoke to him. He stayed quiet. " Remove you're shoe for me please."

"...." I began to reach down, untying my boots. It set up next to me on the bench. Dark Magician slowly took my foot in his hands. "What is this? I cannot see where you're leg is injured." He tilted his head lost. My eyes widen. I was wearing tights that had then cover my feet like socks as well as dark shorts over top. So seeing my leg was futile. No one would be able to, only if I changed my cloths. It pulsed a lot at his touch. "S-sorry.....but those are my cloths..."

I see him flinch in shame. He has just touched a girl's leg, Only to find out what it was.
"!!!!! I- I'm So sorry Please forgive me Lady_____!" He bowed his head deeply at my feet.

Oh god if anyone here could see spirits, they wouldn't surly see this and faint at sight. "A..n-no its fine, please stop bowing. Some people might still see...us..."

"!" His eyes snapped up, he quickly slipped on my shoe franticly and tied laced them up with ease to perfection. Then stood tall in 2 seconds flat. Still a bright pink dusted his flawless face.

" You know I think I can walk still. Lets go." I stood up, he looked at me worried. Reaching over with one hand. He placed his under mine. Just in case.

"I'm sorry.....if I had only arrived sooner I would of been able to keep you front the pain you are in."
I realized his hat was back on his head. He held his staff in his other hand. " Don't worry, its over... what done it done." I replied. We walked back to Bakura's house. Dark stayed close to me, even at the slight flinch he would be ready to do anything.
