Is it really you?

I take a deep breath as I look up at the Moon Dorm, slightly intimidated by the grandeur of the building. I had just transferred to Cross Academy after my Aunt Diana and Uncle Cain practically threw me out of their house, never wanting to see me again. I walked up to the moon dorm gate and was greeted by an old man who gazes at me coldly,

"State your business here."

He asks rudely as he continued to glare at me. Not wanting to anger the man, I responded quickly,

"I'm the transfer student, Y/N  Y/L/N. The headmaster sent me here."

I said as his cold gaze changes to one of disinterest,

"You're on the list. You may pass."

He says as he opens the gate for me. Slowly, you approach the dorm with a knot in your stomach. I was slightly nervous about attending this school. You had been home schooled most of your life because of your vampirism, and although the Night Class was comprised of only vampires you knew that they were all aristocrats. I was a little worried they might look down on me. I opened the large oak door and stepped inside. I looked around the common room and was stunned by how elegant it was. I looked towards a small sitting area and was surprised to see that the only person there was a boy. He looked to be about my age with longish blonde hair and captivating green eyes. He was sitting in a fancy chair reading a manga that I recognized as Black Butler. I wasn't sure if I should say anything, but I eventually decided it wouldn't be a bad idea since I was going to be living here. I quietly walked over and spoke to the boy,

"Is that Black Butler?"

I asked him. He jumped slightly in surprise as if I startled him,

"Oh! Yes, it is. How'd you know?"

He asked, sounding a little surprised that I knew the manga he was reading. I smiled and pointed to the cover,

"Because that's a picture of Prince Soma on the cover."

I said as I moved to sit next to him. He smiled kindly at me,

"Yes, that's correct. You'll have to forgive my rudeness. No one except me reads manga so they have no idea which one I'm reading."

He explained to me, causing me to smile,

"Well there's a first time for everything right?" 

I said and he laughed softly,

"I suppose there is. What's your name?"

he asked turning to me,

"Y/N."

I said with a smile,

"Y/N. That's a beautiful name. I'm Takuma Ichijo."

He said taking my hand and bringing it to his lips for a soft kiss,

"It is a pleasure to meet you."

he said warmly, causing a blush to rise in my cheeks,

"T-Thanks."

I stuttered out, mentally cursing myself for stuttering as I looked up at the second floor landing where I saw someone walk by with long dark brown hair and eyes to match. I looked at him and he, sensing me watching him, turned toward me. His eyes widened just as mine did and in a flash he was in front of you hugging you,

"Y/N.. is it- is it really you?"

He asked, tears threatening to spill over from his eyes as he looked into my E/C eyes,

"Yes Kaname, it is."

I said happily, hugging him tightly. He spoke softly as he held me,

"Cross didn't tell me you'd be transferring here."

I smiled at his comment,

"I told him not to. I wanted it to be a surprise. My Aunt and Uncle threw me out of the house a few days ago. I knew you were here so I spoke to Cross this morning and he had me enrolled."

I heard Kaname laugh,

"I've missed you."

 Eventually a loud 'ahem' drew your attention back to Takuma as he looked at you and Kaname with a slightly confused expression,

"Care to share how you know each other with the rest of the class?"
