Meilleur Academy of the Fine Arts and Sciences (MAFAS) is the most prestigious boarding school in Western Europe, founded by Albert Lorraine in 1908. Its aim is to develop all Meilleureans' talents through academic, sporting and artistic programmes.
The school offers a demanding bilingual and bicultural education with the language of instruction being French or English depending on the student's academic program; however, students may take many language classes while at the Academy, such as Chinese, German, Spanish and many more.
The school's campus consists of a variety of modern and traditional architecture. The most notable buildings are the Clock Tower, which is over a hundred years old and is one of the only buildings in the Academy that has not been remodeled since its construction in 1908, and the Art Dome, which has won several awards for its innovative and sustainable design. The school also houses seven libraries, two football fields, and indoor sports complex, four tennis courts and a cafeteria that aims to serve nutritional and delicious food to its students.
