"We've got a mission for you," Peggy told Ally, sliding over a document to her. "It'll be the first of many, are you sure you're up for it?"

Ally shrugged, her hair falling over her shoulders. "It's not like I have any family to be concerned if I do or don't."

Peggy frowned at Ally's dark humour. "That's nonsense but if you must use that kind of vulgar humour to keep yourself going, then by all means, carry on."

"So what's the mission?" Ally changed the subject. "How can I help?" she did want to help, she wanted to take down HYDRA in any way possible but she was still mourning.

"The serum has amplified your swiftness," Peggy explained. "And whatever extra chemical you put into the serum– well...it has given you the properties of your very name."

Ally's eyes widened in complete shock. "You're telling me that I have the legit power of alchemy?"

"That's what the lab results are telling us," Peggy confirmed. "For whatever reason, you have become the greater version of Steve."

"It still wasn't my intent to do that," Ally admitted to Peggy, hoping that her friend would believe her. "I never wanted any of this."

"I know," Peggy sympathized. "But some people believe you have been given a gift, a second chance if I may. Your companion Mr. Barnes believes you are capable of anything."

Ally thought for a second, thinking about all the times Bucky had told her she was made to do the exceptional. Whenever she felt this low, she tried to think of Nico referring to her as a hero. There was still that constant pain of her family's deaths but she was moving on, slowly but surely.

"What's the mission?" Ally finally asked again, leaning against her chair.

"Our goal is to shut down as many HYDRA facilities as possible. We know very little of the locations of these said facilities so it'll be your job to locate them and then send for Steve– Captain Rogers and his group of commandos."

"Alright," she agreed, flipping through the document that listed where the facilities could be. "If Steve gets a group of commandos, may I request two superiors to accompany me?"

Peggy stopped for a second, unsure if she had the authority to grant Ally her wish. "I'm not sure Ally. You aren't even ranked as a military position, we are breaking a few rules by using you as our weapon."

"I just want Taker and Dunn, that's it," Ally pleaded. "The more of us, the better."

"I need to find Steve so Howard can go over your new suits and weapons," Peggy stood up from her chair, ushering Ally to follow her. "I'll talk to the Colonel and try my best."

"Thank you," Ally stressed. "I don't think I'd be able to do it without them."

"You're a super soldier now, you do realize that?" Peggy questioned, turning the corner as they walked down the SSR.

"I needed help when I wasn't so what makes you think I don't need help now?" Ally persuaded with a sly smirk.

"You're a shadow to the public eyes technically," Peggy went on. "We haven't quite come up with a name for your alter-ego yet but I'm sure Stark will mix up something–"

Peggy and Ally stopped in disbelief, watching as Steve sucked faces with another member of the SSR. Ally couldn't help but notice Peggy's sudden change in mood.

"Captain! We're ready for you. If you're not otherwise occupied."

Steve pulled away, completely red in the face. Ally couldn't help but snicker as he panicked and stepped away from the girl. Annoyed, Peggy turned away as Steve tried to wrap his head around things. "Agent Carter, wait!"
