"Tia's p.o.v"

My heart skipped a million beats when I saw who it was greeting us. I knew we would run into each other again. There were so many guys that came at me but for some reason he wouldn't bounce out of my memory like the rest. Call me crazy but I knew it! I freaking knew it! And here he is standing in awe just like he had left me at Club Kiss.

"So we meet again?" Tia said with a smile.

"I see you have a flat. It'll be done in no time. Have a seat in the waiting room." Jason ran off so quick he almost ran into a closed glass door.

"What was that all about T?"

"I don't know. Let's just go sit down."

"Na. Ain't no sittin down that was rude! I'm bout to go find him!"

If only he knew he had ran off on me in front of the wrong person. I just wanted Nel to let it go but I knew my best friend and she was gonna find out why he reacted the way he did. With the way she bolted off I had to follow her crazy self.

"Aye yo Jason! Jason!"

He reluctantly turned around.

"What was that about?"

"Ma'am I don't know what you mean, I--"

"Save that bs! Why you left her hanging like that?"

Jason was at a lost for words.

"Oh what? You can't hear me? You need me to get louder?"

"Please can we just step outside? Just you and I?"

"You wanna leave her hanging again?! Na bruh! Whatever you gotta say you can say it right here!"

He stood there again, lost for words.

"Hellloooo! You can't he--"

"I'm embarrassed! The last place I wanted to run into Tia again was my job. She's not going to talk to a mechanic. I don't make enough money for her! You happy now?!"

Jason slammed his clipboard on the counter and went into the break, slamming the door behind him.

Yanelli and Tia both stood there with blank stares. Yanelli felt awful she had pushed him to that edge.

I can't believe that just happened. Yanelli and her big mouth probably costed me the man of my dreams. I didn't care about him being a mechanic. At least he had a job. I didn't need him to take care of me. Right out of college I went straight into my field. I was a registered nurse at one of the top hospitals in the country. I had to clear this up.

Tia walked into the break room to find Jason leaning on a counter top with his head on the cabinet.

"Jason..."

"I'm sorry I blew up like that. Ya girl pushed me though."

"You really think I wouldn't talk to you because of your career?"

"Man I know your kind. You're spoiled. You have 'mommy and daddy' to take care of everything. So yo nigga have to be able to do what they do and I can't do that."

Tia got a little offended for being pre-judged.

"Well for one, I take care of myself. Yeah, my parents are wealthy but they do not spoil me. That was the whole point of me going to college. I am a Registered Nurse and I take care of myself!"

"That's worst. You make more money than me. How that look? Crazy!"

"You have a screwed vision of how relationships work. Who cares?! Not me! I don't car--"

"You can say that until yo bougie ass wants some Prada or Gucci bag I can't get. We both know what will happen next!"

Tia then grew enraged with him judging her. She started to walk closer to him.

"You know what?! Fuck you Jason! Fuck you and all this! I can't believe I fantasized about running into your judgmental ass for two months! Two months! And after I tell you I don't care about your job you still gone judge me?! You're stupid! You are dumb! You are ignorant!"

Those last three words stabbed Jason in the heart.

"Get yo bougie ass out here before I beat ya ass!"

He grabbed Tia and pushed her into a table. Tia reached back and slapped him. Then stormed out of the break room.

"Let's go Yanelli!"

A mad Tia burst thru the double glass doors with Yanelli running behind her.
