Uneasiness continued to flow around me when i was near the strangers but i had no reason not to trust them and its not like i have never met new people before so why, why do i feel like this around them. It does not matter how i feel everyone deserves a chance so i will trust them and help them out, it's the least i can do.
Saturday had arrived and so my dad helped Alek and Gene find jobs and i went out to help Con get some revision books so he is not so behind at school. After that we spent the rest of that day going through them and he understood a lot of it, by the end of the weekend he should know the majority of what he needs going at this pace. Father, Alek and Gene had returned and the time was 6:42 they had been out for a while. Apparently Gene got a part time job as a waitress and since Alek had potential he was going to college to get a degree so he could get a better job but for now was working as a cashier. This was all discussed over dinner.
I helped con study deep into the night and only stopped when i said so, if i was to do anything after this point he may not remember. We both retired for the night. Waves of sleep washed over me and i drifted into my dreams but this one was different, strange. A ghostly figure in an ebony hooded cloak stood ahead of me. They held an object in their hand that looked closely to a scythe and their venom green eyes gazed at me with an ambiguous stare that was the only colour they had. My body was stuck in place, unable to move so i tried to call out but my voice was stolen but i didn't give up i continued to try and call out for what seemed like hours and my throat began to sting with a burning sensation. Out of nowhere the figure took a single step forward and then stopped. What were they doing?
"Soon."
Filled with shock my eyes opened after what the shadow had said and they would not close again, uncertain the figure would appear again so i sat there awake waiting for morning to come. What is going on? That was the question that repeated in my mind. What was really going on?
