Flareon x Reader

You had your eyes on one stone: The Fire Stone. You could feel the heat radiating from it in the palm of your hand. 

"I know what I'm going to do." You stated. Eevee cocked it's head.

"What's that?" Your mother asked.

You turned to her. "I'm going to aim for the Pokémon League."

"That's a huge goal to set for yourself, (YN)."

"Yeah..." You sighed. "I know it won't be easy, and I especially know I can't do it alone. Which is why..." You paused, turning to Eevee now, kneeling to get on it's level. 

"I'd like you to come with me." You said, holding the stone out to Eevee. It looked from it to you and said it's name happily, touching the stone with it's paw. 

You watched in awe as the shining blue light evolved Eevee into a fired-up Flareon.

"Flareon!" It cried. You took it in your lap.

"Let's aim to be the very best!"

"Eon!"

Your mother smiled knowingly. "I'll go pack a bag for-" She started to say, but you were already out the door.
