Author's Note: Hey guys! Yes, I'm FINALLY updating this story. I got all your comments so thank you to everyone who was reading and I hope you're all still going to stay with me. I will finish at least until third year, and if I do get more inspiration during this time, then I might even continue on until...well...we'll see. Anywho, this chapter is a long way into the future of the third year when Harry overhears Madame Rosmerta (i think that's her name oops) and Fudge and a couple other people talking about Sirius Black. This will be more like the book unlike the other chapters mostly based on the movies, so hope you guys enjoy.

I stared out the window of three broomsticks, the snow slightly falling down onto the ground. I kept remembering all of those Christmas's I spent with Sirius, and couldn't help but feel sullen. I felt my cushion slightly lift, and looking to my left, I see my trusty friend Hagrid. Soon, Minerva Mcgonagall and Minister Cornelius Fudge came in and sat opposite us. Professor Flitwick comes in as well, sitting near Hagrid. The smell of peppermint and butterbeer surrounded us, while Christmas lights lit up the entire room. Madame Rosmerta comes towards us.

"A small gillywater --"

"Mine," Mcgonagall smiles at her and takes the drink.

"Right. Four pints of mulled mead --"

"Ta, Rosmerta," Hagrid takes his order.

"A cherry syrup and soda with ice and umbrella --"

"Mmm!" Professor Flitwick smacked his lips. I let out a chuckle.

"The traditional butterbeer --"

"That would be me, thank you." I took the mug and drank the warm liquid. It literally tastes like Christmas.

"So you'll be the red currant rum, Minister."

"Thank you, Rosmerta, m'dear," Fudge said. "Lovely to see you again, I must say. Have one yourself, won't you? Come and join us...."

"Well, thank you very much, Minister." Rosmerta giggles and I raise my eyebrows.

"So, what brings you to this neck of the woods, Minister?" Rosmerta asks once she sat down.

"Yes, I was wondering why we got called." I looked at him.

"What else, m'dears, but Sirius Black? I daresay you heard what happened up at the school at Halloween?" He said this quietly, only after checking to make sure no one is eavesdropping. I can't say I felt completely safe and unwatched, but it'll do.

"I did hear a rumor," Madam Rosmerta admitted.

"Did you tell the whole pub, Hagrid?" Mcgonagall said annoyed. I laughed.

"Do you think Black's still in the area, Minister?" Rosmerta whispered. My cue to roll my eyes. I don't know why I'm still here listening to this if they're just going to badmouth him.

"I'm sure of it." said Fudge.

"You know that the dementors have searched the whole village twice? Scared all my customers away...It's very bad for business."

"Rosmerta, dear, I don't like them any more than you do," said Fudge. "Necessary precaution...unfortunate, but there you are...I've just met some of them. They're in a fury against Dumbledore -- he wont let them inside the castle grounds."

"I should think not," Mcgonagall had a sharpness to her voice. "How are we supposed to teach with those horrors floating around?"

"She has a good point. We don't want the students to go mad like the prisoners that deserve it." I said.
