Scotty Doesn't Know

Angelina

"So how's life as an angel?" Damon questioned as Jacob and I demolished the McDonald's Damon had bought for us. "I guess it's okay, I have a lot to live up to." I shrugged my shoulders throwing at fry into my mouth.

"Damon? Didn't you get me one?" Alaric charged into the room with a grin plastered on his face once we met eyes. I squealed, shooting up from my seat charging at Alaric to have our bear hugs we usually greeted each other with.

"I've missed you, little one." Alaric smiled as we broke away from our hug, I smiled at my nickname before returning to my seat between Damon and Jacob. "Where's Tyler?" I asked with a raised eyebrow.

"He heard that his favourite hybrid was in town and did a runner with Matt." Damon smirked leaning back in the leather sofa, throwing a nugget into his mouth. I furrowed my eyebrows, was Tyler that scared of Niklaus?

"When do you have to leave, Angiepops?" I rolled my eyes at Jacob calling me by my old nickname that I had grown to love and hate.

"Whenever Klaus turns up at the door and demands me to leave, which I assume is soon so better make the most with your time with me." I giggled but deep down I was sad that I was going to have leave behind again and for who knows how long.

"Caroline, Bonbon and Elena are coming over today, is that okay?" Damon hesitantly asked, I knew why he emphasised on Elena. Elena and I are on rocky terms right now. Stefan avoided coming home, who knew where he was sleeping, and I resented that. I didn't blame Damon but I had to shove my hatred somewhere and I shoved it on Elena. She's ruined everything for the Salvatore brothers and I'm not going to sway that easily. Caroline and I have never been that good of friends anyway so nothing had changed then. Caroline despised my existence, she hated how I just joined their group of friends and became people's most liked blonde.

"Great, yeah sure whatever." I sarcastically said rolling my eyes which Jacob snickered at, Jacob didn't really enjoy Elena's company either.

"Lizzie is on her way." He announced too which I couldn't decide was good or bad. Elizabeth seemed nice enough but I couldn't help but be defensive of Kol and how she put him through hell for a thousand years. Rebekah tells me random stories of what Kol was like when he was utterly heartbroken and the fact that Elizabeth had pushed him that way infuriated me sometimes. Kol was fragile, she made him like that.

"In fact, she's here." He grinned as the door opened. Her soft voice called out for Jacob and he returned with an in here. I sighed, Elena and Elizabeth in the same room as me. I didn't think so. In she waltzed with her perfectly curled blonde hair and a elegant summer dress on that made her look stunning as she always did. I could see why Jacob and Kol were both taken by her.

"Thought I could smell Saffron." She smiled as she took a seat opposite Jacob, crossing her legs in a lady like fashion as I sat here with my legs wide open with burger relish on my sweater. I tucked my legs under my body trying to look at least presentable. I hated how she was perfect, like Kol had told me so much about her as he taught me how to use my angelic powers. She could sing, she could paint and sketch, she could garden, she could dance and she was extremely intelligent.

"How are you after the ball? I hope Kol gave you no more trouble." She patted my knee sympathetically and I glared at the spot she had touched. I didn't ask for her to touch me but yet she did so anyway.

"He's been quite lovely, actually." I deadpanned, I didn't want to be rude but I just felt it piling out of me. I was jealous of her, extremely jealous and I couldn't help but take it out on her as if it was her fault.

"Oh, I could never imagine Kol being lovely." She chuckled as did Jacob so it was less awkward, I so badly wanted to roll my eyes but I refrained myself by forcing a smile. "Well if you had stuck around for that millennium you might be able to imagine it." It was too late, the words had tumbled out of my mouth. Jacob was glaring at me, Damon was glaring at me, Alaric furrowed his eyebrows at me and Elizabeth sat there with the most forced smile I had ever seen.

"Listen, Angelina. I didn't come here to start a fight over Kol. I understand if you're quite smitten with him, he can be charming. However, you do not know him like I do. I watched him for a millennium and so I could imagine it, dear." She spoke with such a soft tone, not raising her voice at all and that made me resent her even more. Why couldn't she be a bitch so I could hate her more? Why do I hate her? I didn't like Kol so why was I feeling like this?

"Jacob, can I speak to you for a moment?" She asked him, getting up from her chair. He shot up to follow him out of the room which I rolled my eyes at.

"What is wrong with you?" Damon whisper shouted towards me with widened eyes. "I-I don't know, I couldn't stop it from coming out my mouth." I stammered, I didn't know what was wrong with me and why I was so defensive over Kol.

"She's a teenager, Damon. Let her act like one." Alaric sighed, eating a fry from Damon's pile of fries that he was taking forever to eat.

"Elena, Caroline and Bonnie are here." Damon announced getting up from his chair leaving Alaric and I alone in the living area with lots of left over McDonald's.

"'Ric, I don't know what's wrong with me. I feel like such a bitch." I sighed my head falling into my hands. I screamed into my hands in frustration, chuckling Alaric patted my back sympathetically.

"You're an eighteen year old girl, they never like their brother's girlfriend." Alaric reasoned which I nodded at, throwing my hair over my shoulder as Jacob and Elizabeth reentered the room. Jacob with his head down and Elizabeth with her never faltering smile.

"So Angelina, how are you doing with being a Saffron Angel?" Elizabeth casually asked as if nothing had happened with her grin on her face.

"I guess it's going okay, I've learned so stuff but right now my priority is opening the chamber." I answered trying to be civil with her from now on, not letting my jealousy get the better of me.

"The chamber? You cannot open it, Angelina." She clutched my hands with desperation in her eyes. I raised an eyebrow at her waiting for her to continue.

"The witches will come for you and anyone who's ever loved you. Family, friends, ex-boyfriends, old friends. They will destroy you for opening that chamber and once they've killed everyone you've ever loved, even the slightest bit of love, they'll give you the most excruciating pain you have felt that you would wish you are dead too along with your friends and family." She warned still clutching my hand and looking into my eyes.

"Klaus will kill everyone who's ever locked eyes with me if I don't. What choice do I have?" I sneered, letting go of her hands leaning back in my chair with my arms crossed.

"Angelina is cloaked, the witches will never find her." Bonnie entered the room, she must have been listening as she stood with her arms crossed, narrowed eyes at Elizabeth.

"You think your poxy cloaking spell will stop them?" Elizabeth was enraged, her fists were clenched and her eyes held an anger I had never seen before. Jacob tugged on her wrist to get her to calm down but she just shrugged him off.

"Lizzie, calm down. Don't get like this again, babe." Jacob soothed her, rubbing her back. She unclenched her fists and let out a deep breath before smiling again. "Sorry about that, just thought I'd let you know what you're getting into. Can we go now, Jacob?" Her tone was cold but her face was warm.

"Yeah." He sighed, wrapping his arm around her to shield her from us leading her out of the room. I turned to face Alaric and Bonnie who were left dumbfounded.

"What the fuck do I do now?"
