Secret Story 2 - The Embarrassing side of me..

Kasumi's POV from Chapter 12 - Mutterings.

Mina left the room after i fix his coat and i'm left alone in my room..

Suddenly Tegemi , stops by..

"Kasumi ?"

"Oh , Tegemi..."

"The wind's really picked up ...is your  room alright ?"

"Yup , seems so , Mina did a really good job fixing the window.."

"Yeah , considering his condition when he was fixing it , jeez that guy , wonder what's he's thinking doing that with a broken arm , but he did a superb job though.."

"Y-yeah...he did.."

I really appreciate what he has done for me , but...

(He really shouldn't be have put himself in such danger , he even fell from a tree..)

A lot of things happen the other day. He got picked on by some guys in the university because his close to me ,  He fall from a tree fixing my window , he help an old lady carrying her heavy baggage , we even fell victim to a mugging...

And he saw the embarrassing side of me , fighting those thugs , but i was left with no choice he was injured , though he act so manly though fending an armed robber i didn't think he had it in him to be that kind , manly and heroic...

(Well , anyway it's a good thing he's okay now..)

(But...his just too reckless and kind for his own good..)

(Maybe because he was compelled to do it because Tegemi ask him , and we were in a tight spot cornered by those thugs..but still..)

I felt a little gloomy.

"Kasumi ? What's wrong ?"

"What ?"

"Your face is red..."

"Huh ?!"

"Uh...um..i'm fine..."

Flustered i put a smile on my face..

(Why was my face red just then...?)

(Was it because i was thinking about Mina ?)

I feel my cheeks starts to burn up even  more..

(No way ! , It can't be ! I won't believe it .....)

Then...

"Hmnn.. ?" Tegemi looks at me suspiciously ...

"W-what ?"

For some reason her smile has gotten larger than before...

"Wh-What is it ?"

"Hm ? That's what i suppose to be asking you .."

"Oh right. By the way..."

With a sly smile on her face she whispers to me..

"You really need to thank Mina , sometimes."

"W-Why do you say  that ?"

"Even though i tried to stop him from fixing your window he wouldn't have any of it , and when he went up there he said he was okay , so i believe him , i was really mad at him for putting himself into danger you know , but somehow he was compelled to fix that window no matter what.."

" !! " (She tried to stop him but he still ? )

With a big grin on her face Tegemi turns to leave my room...

"Well , i talk to you later..."

"Oh...Okay.."

Left alone i just ponder to myself..

(Mina did that in the middle of the typhoon just for me ?!)

(I already thanked him, but ...)

Still....

(The thought makes me a little warm inside..)
