A/N Ok loves are you ready for this information? Ok so this chapter is Josh's perspective of what you just read in the previous chapter. That's confusing. You'll see just read it lol

Im walking to the library for my tutoring session with this guy named Tyler. I sit there waiting for 5 minutes. Well I was early. But when it gets to 10 minutes I'm thinking he definitely bailed on me. I race out the double doors of the school to the parking lot where I see him. He's trying to run. I call out to him.
"Tyler?"
He turns around.
But there's no response.
"Tyler!" I yell louder.
"Yeah?" He says.
"What are you doing, we have a tutoring session right now!"
"What's the point? It's not like I'm going to get any smarter, so why are you even doing this?"
"There's always a point. Do you even want to graduate?"
"I'm not in a hurry" He says.
At this point I've been walking closer to him and I am now ten feet away.
"Well I'll get in trouble if you bail. Do you want that to happen?"
"No." He says softly.
"Okay, so let's go back in there so I can teach you stuff. Okay?" I say with a slight laugh.
"Okay."
"Okay."

I've been talking about History stuff for a while now, but I look up to see that Tyler is completely spaced out. Great.
"Tyler?"
He snaps out of it.
"U-uh what?"
"I asked you if you knew what year the Declaration of Independence was signed."
"Oh uh, 1850?"
"No. But close though!" I say optimistically.
"What's the point? I'm dumb."
"Tyler!"
"What?!"
"You are not dumb!"
"Um in case you haven't noticed I'm stupid."
"YOU ARE NOT STUPID!"
"Okay Jesus!"
"Okay."
"Um- no offense, but why do you care?" He says.
"I just hate it when people give up, so I'm not going to give up on your grades, and your not going to give up on yourself. Okay?"
He starts to cry.
"Oh, don't cry." I hug him.
"I-I'm sorry, I'm just not used to people caring about me." That gets me. This guy has people treat him like shit, so when I tell him I'm not gonna give up, he's surprised. I find myself crying as well.
"Why are you crying?" He asks pulling away from my embrace.
"People treat you like crap, so when I show the smallest ounce of care, you are surprised and it's sad."
He hugs me again and there we sit. Two guys. Sitting in the library. Crying. Together.

I had offer to go to my house to finish our studying session, and he politely agrees. I pick out a movie to watch and he seems surprised when I bring him a soda. Does he not drink it? We watch the movie and he laughs at a joke. He should smile more often. He is really cute when he smiles.
"I-I am?" He says.
"Did I say that out loud?"
"Yes." He says. Shit.
"Oh. Well y-yeah, I guess."
When the movie is over, he says he needs to go home so I politely ask if he needs a ride. He says no, but as he tries to get up from the couch, he stumbles and spills his soda all over my white shirt. I just laugh. Of corse I don't really care, but he seems shocked when I laugh. Did he actually think I'd be mad? Then he rushed to my kitchen to get paper towels, and as he's trying to wipe down my shirt and the couch he trips and falls onto me. Our noses are touching and he's looking into my eyes. I never noticed how beautiful his brown eyes are. I find myself getting lost in them, and before I know it I lean in and our lips are touching. I deepen the kiss because his scent is triggering me. He leans in further and after about a minute, we pull apart to catch our breath. We're both speechless.
"I-I think I would like to do that again." I say.
"Y-yeah."

A/N TIME SKIP TO NEXT DAY

I'm walking down the hall, I see Debbie. Shit. I don't even think about her when I was kissing Tyler. Before I can stop her, she kisses me.
"How are you, handsome?" She says in an admiring tone.
"U-um I'm u-uh good. Uh, good" I say stuttering with nervousness.
"Are you hiding something from me?"
"U-uh no, no. N-not at all."
Well that was convincing, Josh.
"Josh,"
"Y-yes?"
"What is it?"
"What's what?"
"What's going on?"
"What do you m-mean, Debs?"
"Don't 'Debs' me! What are you hiding!"
"What makes y-you think th-that I'm h-hiding ss-something?"
"You're literally stuttering with nervousness and you have your hands in your back pocket, that means your not telling me something! Tell me!"
"I AM NOT HIDING ANYTHING FROM YOU!"
Shit. I didn't mean to yell at her.
"I-uh um.. ok."
"Debs, I'm sorry."
"No no, it's fine. Just keep me guessing on what you are hiding and then better yet, scream at me! I can't stand this, Josh! You don't trust that you can tell me whatever your hiding, which means you don't trust me! That's not a good relationship! You know what? I am done with you, Josh Dun!"
She storms off to her next class.
"Debs, wait!" I call after her.
There's no response. Shit. Shit!
