"Oh come on Marcus!" I shout at him.

He stays silent, staring at the television.

"Marcus it's not like it's going to kill her." Jared beings. "We all need to get out anyways."

Marcus sighs as Jared looks over at me giving me a wink.

"Alright fine. Two against one I'll never win this." Marcus sighs.

I quickly jump. "Yes thank you, thank you, thank you."

Jared chuckles. "Look how happy you've made her."

A small smile tugs the corner of his lips. "Yeah whatever."

"Is that a smile I see?" Jared jokes.

Marcus throws a pillow at him causing Jared to chuckle.

"I'm going to go get ready. You two behave." I call over my shoulder.

I put on a maroon and black galaxy print skirt. There is a solid black skirt underneath that goes to just below my knees. Then a translucent slip over it forming a triangle like shape in the front and back stopping somewhere around my shin. I put on a plain black tank top, since it is pretty warm in New Orleans tonight. I'm actually very excited for tonight, I didn't think that after my little accident last week Marcus agree. This is one of New Orleans biggest street carnivals, Marcus and Jared took me to one my first year here and I just absolutely loved it.

"Are you almost ready?" Marcus questions knocking on my door.

I open my door a wide smile on my face. "Yep."

"Whoa look at you!" Jared shouts. "Who are you trying to impress?"

I glance down at my attire. "No one, I just wanted to look at little different."

"Well you look great." He smiles.

I shrug pulling my blonde hair up in a half ponytail keeping it out of my face. "Well let's get going, I'm not getting any younger." I state moving past them and heading to the door.

Everything is beautifully lit up, small stalls were set up on the side walk, the stage over in the small park holds bands that played live music. People stand on the grass, watching and listening to the band, some were even dancing.

"I'm going to go look around."

"Don't go to far." Marcus states.

"Relax, she'll be fine." Jared states looping his arm in Marcus' pulling him off to a stand.

I smile at the two quickly disappearing into the crowd, letting everything buzz around me. I don't know why but I've always found this so amazing, so beautiful how they decorate such a boring and ordinary street. I accidentally bump into someone's chest, I quickly step back looking up at the man.

"I'm sorry." I quickly rush.

"That's quiet alright love."

I stare up at him, my eyebrows knitting together in confusion. That curly dirty blonde hair, those blue green eyes.

"Have we met before?" I question.

He looks down at me, giving me a playful smirk. " I believe our last exchanged was held on a dance floor. Serena."

I smile up at him. "Of course, Klaus right?"
