"You can tell me and Josh both," my grip tightened on his hand and I heard my dad grumble something under his breath. I raised an eyebrow and waited for his answer.

"Tyler, I don't think this is going to work-"

"What do you-what're you talking about?"

"I think what Chris is trying to say is, he doesn't like it that you're not dating a girl," my mom spoke up and he nodded.

I felt my shoulders sink, "Oh, so you don't care about or like my decisions? You don't like that I'm bisexual? Is that what you're saying?"

"That's not what I meant-"

"You nodded your head!"

"I want grandchildren and I want to be a grandparent,"

I scoffed, "I can't believe you right now,"

"Tyler-"

"No! Don't even try,"

I pulled on Josh's hand and I stood up. He still sat there, shocked, "Josh let's go-"

"Can I talk to you both, alone?" he asked my parents and they hesitantly nodded. Josh let go of my hand as he followed them outside. I sat back down and buried my head in my hands. What is he going to do now?

"We're sorry Tyler," Zack spoke.

"S'okay, it's not your fault,"

"Still, we feel really bad about it."

I nodded as I looked up to watch Josh talk to my parents through the window of the patio door. They sat in the patio chairs outside. Josh looked on edge as my dad looked upset. Josh stood up and said something angrily to my dad before walking back inside. He grabbed my hand and pulled me to the front door.

"Where are you going?" I heard Jay shout after us but we were already out the door.

"Josh? What happened?" I asked him once we got to the car. He was about to get in when my dad walked out the front door.

"Leave and don't you ever come back!" he shouted to Josh.

"I'm not planning on it!" he shouted back before getting in the car and slamming the door. I watched my dad shake his head at me then go back inside as he slammed the door. My mouth hung open as I opened the door to the passenger side and got in. Josh pulled out right as I closed the door and drove off to our hotel.

"Josh?" I asked once we parked and he sighed.

"Yeah?" he asked as if he was upset he was woken up early on a weekend.

"What. Happened."

"I don't want to-"

"Josh! I don't want you to get in a car accident next,"

He stiffened as he looked at me with his jaw clenched and he pointed a finger at me, "Don't talk about that again, got it?"

I've never seen this side of him before, even after this long we've known each other. I was taken aback as my eyes widened.

"Let's just go," he grumbled as he got out of the car. He popped the trunk and grabbed his stuff and I grabbed mine. We rolled our suitcases inside and checked in at the front desk.

"Room 136, enjoy your stay," the man spoke with a smile from behind the desk. Josh nodded and grabbed the cards to the room as we headed to the elevator. He pressed the button and the doors opened. Once the doors closed, I turned to look at him.

"Who are you?" I asked, he gave me a sideways confused look.

"I don't know what you're talking about," he stated simply before looking back at his reflection in the doors again. I rolled my eyes as he basically ran out of the elevator when the doors opened to avoid my question. I followed him out and into our hotel room, "I'm going to bed."

He laid down in the bed and covered himself up. I ignored him and started to put all of our stuff away. I can't believe him. We didn't even eat dinner yet. I was folding his clothes and placing them in the drawer when my phone started to ring. I got up and grabbed my phone from the nightstand to see it was Madison.

I was going to say hello but Madison cut me off, "We're so sorry Ty-"

"Where's Josh?" Zack asked. I must be on speaker.

"He went to bed because he's not answering my questions,"

They all answered, "Oh,"

"I just want to know what he said to them or what they said to him but he doesn't want to tell me, so he's dodging my questions,"

"Yeah, we asked mom and dad and they wouldn't tell us either,"

"I've never seen this side of Josh before and it's kinda scaring me."

"Don't worry. I saw the way he looked at you, and I can tell he loves you. Don't doubt him, okay?"

"Okay and thank you."

We said our goodbyes and I finished putting our stuff away before I laid next to Josh in the bed. I stared at his face as his eyes were closed. He opened his eyes, sensing that I was looking, and I smiled. He did the same but rolled over quickly after so his back was now facing me.

I sighed as I turned over to look up at the ceiling. Why does this have to happen to me?
