"Way to go Harl, we escaped the bat!" I called. I had swam out of the car the second it hit the water, now I was under the harbor.
"Harl?" I called again, looking around, she was nowhere to be seen.
I saw the bat dive in and a few minutes later he came out carrying something, Harley.
Shit. I thought. I got out of the water and up onto the hill, Harley was on her knees on the ground, as I got closer I could hear her screaming.
"...BABIES!!! I LOST THE BABIES!!!" She screamed.
Oh my god. I thought. My poor Harley.
"HARLEY!!!!" I screamed.
She looked up at me, and so did the bat. He picked her up and put her in the car and drove off.
"NO!!!"
