You frowned as the rain started to fall faster. You were supposed to meet Jay in the park for your date.
Afraid that Jay might have been in a fight , you called him. You were a bit worried and you didn't want to be a clingy girlfriend.
It took a few rings for him to pick up but when he did you sighed with relief.
"Jay, hi, are you okay?" "Yeah I'm fine, why?" You sighed, it was like Jay to forget about things, you were just glad he's okay.
"Actually, we were supposed to-"
"Did you know that Nya's boyfriend dumped her? Such a jerk! Can you believe she broke up with me to date that loser? I'm here comforting her."
Tears welled up in your eyes, he still had feelings for her.
"A-Actually we were supposed to meet for a date. " you say softly.
"Now? Sorry (Y/N), I can't now, Nya needs me. "
You scowled, here you were soaked to the bone and he's over there comforting his ex when he should be here with his girlfriend.
"How about tomorrow? "
"Sorry, not tomorrow, actually, not ever, cause we're done!" You heard Jay fumble for words.
Before hanging up, you yelled into the phone"I hate you!"
