Lily PoV
It was my first day at high school and I was really excited. I walked downstairs and James was doing hard because I was wearing a skirt. "Please, James, let it go!" I begged holding my head in my hands. "You promised a sweatpants and sweatshirt." He snapped. "It's freaking hot outside!" I protested, he shook his head. "Let you sister alone!" Dad said and I smiled at him. James left to pick up Phoebe and to complain about me, but I'm pretty sure Phoebe will calm him down. She had that affect on him, he lived for her. Their relationship is very deep and they love each other very much. I hope to find somebody like that too. Well there is somebody. I like Lucas, I like him a lot. We're really good friends and when we're with each other I just get all giddy inside. "Is someone daydreaming about Lucas?" Juliet asked me amused, I slapped her. "You said you wouldn't tell!" I snapped and pointed at mom and dad. "We already knew, it's so obvious!" Mom told me and dad nodded in agreement, I groaned and laid my head on the table. The bell went and Juliet run to the door, probably Ben. She used to do the same with Andrew, things all changed. She and Ben look very cute together, but still somewhere deep inside I think she looked cuter with Andrew. "Wanna ride? Lucas is waiting?" Ben asked me and ruffled my hair, I pushed him away and fixed it. "Oh, do you wanna look good in front of your man?" Ben teased me and I glared at him and Juliet. "Idiots!" I mumbled and they laughed. I walked to the car and jumped inside. Lucas was sitting on his phone. He became more attractive. He was taller, older, new haircut and he was just really that handsome. I stared at him for five seconds, when he noticed me. "Lils!" He said and pulled me to him, we hugged and I heard Ben and Juliet get in. "I don't want to see my baby sister get pregnant before me, young man!" Juliet teased Lucas, he chuckled and raised his hands in defend. He acted really mature and his chuckle gave me butterflies. We drove to school and we talked about all our friends. "I literally can't wait to see Megh!" I told him and he chuckled. Meg is a daughter of Travis and Katie. "Of course, you two seen each other yesterday and you already miss her." He joked and I pocked him. We drove into school and stepped out. "Come on, babies, follow the cool people!" Juliet told us and me and Lucas looked at each other. "You two cool, yeah right!" Lucas joked and I laughed with him, Ben patted his back. "Wait and see." He told him and laid his arm around Juliet and pulled her closer. They opened the doors and literally everybody looked at them and as we passed by people talked to them or gave them an high five. We arrived at a locker, my brother and his friends stood there. He was leaning over Phoebe and they were doing cute. He gave her little kisses and she was just a tomato. Her eyes landed on us and they light up, she came over and hugged us. We started to talk to each other and they told us about some teachers. It was time for the assembly and we said goodbye. I walked next to Lucas and some guys were winking at me, I sneaked a glance at Lucas and saw a scowl on his face. He laid his arm around me and I couldn't help but smile at him, I laid mine around him too and we walked together. We entered the gym hall and Meg attacked me with a big hug. "I missed you!" We said at the same time, Lucas rolled his eyes and Megh hit him against his head. He grimaced and walked to his friends. He was the man, now already. "You really like him, huh?" Megh asked me and I sneaked a glance at him, he looked at me and send me a wink. I blushed and smiled, Megh was squealing. "You two are gonna become the power couple! Like Phoebe and James!" She said and I thought about it, I hoped so. Because James and Phoebe are like the cutest. The principal came and we sat down. I sat next to Lucas and Megh. There was a whole speech and it was so boring, I saw some kids falling asleep. Lucas laid his head on my shoulder and groaned. "This is so boring!" He complained. "If you stay awake, I'll buy you any ice cream you want." I promised and he smiled brightly. "You got yourself a deal, Grace!" He said and we shook hands. He let his head on my shoulder and I didn't even had one problem with it. The speech ended and teachers had to wake up some children. I had Greek first, me and Lucas almost had the same schedule. Megh had a few classes together. Me and Lucas walked to Greek and I sat down next to him. The teacher was very late, I was so bored. Lucas was talking to some friends. I just took his hand and started to design on it. I wrote my name and happy smileys. "Dude, is she available?" I heard one of his friends whisper to Lucas, he pointed at me. "No." Lucas snapped and I got butterflies. I looked up and the guy was blushing, I chuckled. The teacher came in and he had a big smile. "Sorry, I'm late! The principal needed me." He said and sat down on his desk. "I'm mr. Wright! You're my class, that means I'm your mentor and you can always come to me when you have problems." He said and stood up. "That means when you have difficulties with a subject, problem at home or in the class. Or in love life, I was the one that made Phoebe and James a couple. I feel very honored!" He said and we laughed. "No, but just that you now, I'm here for you. Now let's get to know each other. Just say your name, age, hobbies and if you got some siblings or parents I should know." He said and pointed at a girl in the front to start. We were half way when we came on a girl, I knew her. It was Julianna, daughter of Reyna. "I'm Julianna Stoll, 14, I was praetor in New Rome but my mother forced me to come here to school, my mom and dad are Reyna and Connor." She said and people whispered. "Reyna, had an important role in the second Giant war. We have a famous legacy here." Mr. Right said and people looked impressed. Wait till I come I thought. Finally it was my turn. "I'm Lily Grace, 14, my hobbies are dance and athletics, my mom and dad are Piper and Jason Grace. I have sister snd brother, who are twins. James and Juliet." I said and people started to whisper loudly. "You look just like your father, mini version! And a sister of James, he's a good kid when you get to know him. And Juliet is Juliet." Mr. Wright said with a big smile, I blushed. "Juliet is Juliet?! She's like the hottest chick here, well after Phoebe!" A guy exclaimed and other guys nodded in agreement. "Never say Phoebe's hot in front of James, we'll loose you then." Mr. Wright told him and we all laughed, I knew James would do that. "It's so sad James isn't single, I'm mean he's a total hottie!" One of the girls said and then something happened that probably ruined her life. "Well thank you, sweetheart!" James said and came inside with Phoebe. The girl looked super pale, Phoebe rolled her eyes. "Yeah, now I have to hear him the whole day saying how hot he is." Phoebe complained, James smirked at her. "Baby, your think I'm hot." He said and tried to kiss her, but she ignored him. She walked to mr. Wright and whispered something to him. "Phoebe and James are gonna explain you something about the school activities." He said and Phoebe looked at us, she stood there brave and calm. "So you're about to choose an school activities. Me and this idiot here are gonna explain the options." She said and we laughed. "You need to fill in this paper and give it to us. We'll go over with it with you guys." James said and he and Phoebe gave us some sheets. I looked at it and I wanted to do athletics. They started to explain everything, something caught my eye. "The choir is an amazing thing to do. You get to sing and perform and win some trophies. It's lead by mr. Lanson, he's gonna be your music tutor he's amazing. Guys I swear. I'm a member of it myself, something really fun to do. any interests?" She asked and all guys raised their hands, except Lucas. "Dumb move." Mr. Wright mumbled. "Okay, kiddos, I'm gonna be kind on you because you're new here. Phoebe is my property, she's been since day one and she'll always be. So don't think, talk or even look at her." James said and a guy raised his stupid hand. "But she's helping us the first few weeks to get used to everything." He told him and James grinned. "I'll be at her side all time." He told him and they guy looked down. "After James his trauma causing speech, does anyone really wants to join?" Phoebe asked, two girls and one guy raised their hands. She smiled brightly and took their names. I was in a dilemma, Lucas sensed it. "Phoebe! Lily wants to join to!" He exclaimed and I glared at him. "That's not true!" I protested and Phoebe came over. "I'll wrote your name down." She said and did it, I tired to protest. "Oh, baby, is a bit angry." James teased and came over to me, I tried to push him away. He sat down on my lap and I grimaced. "Get off me you fat idiot!" I snapped and he laughed. "I'm not fat, I'm rocking a six pack." He said and lifted his shirt, girls all squealed and I groaned. "Come on, thunder boy, we need to go to other classes! And stop teasing those girls!" Phoebe complained and pulled him off me. "Bye, Lucy! Bye, Lils!" She said and waved at us, James caught her at the door and kissed her. Blushing she walked off, we laughed.
Me and Lucas walked to lunch, Juliet called us over. I sat down next to her and noticed at girl on Phoebe her spot. I asked them who she was and apparently she was Madison. James was neglecting Phoebe. She looked so unhappy, it broke my heart. She been through a lot and now she sat her so alone and heartbroken.
After school I bought Lucas an ice cream at his mom place, he of course took the biggest. I used all my money on his, so I didn't had one. I sat next to him on my phone and we were on Facebook. I was telling him about the photos and all that, he gave me some of his ice cream. Lucas mom, Calypso, came over. "Aren't you two cute?" She said and I blushed. She asked Lucas about school and then left for some customers. He ate his ice cream and walked me home. "Bye!" I said and gave him a hug. "I'm taller than you." He joked and I blushed, I came to his nose. "I like that." I told him and walked inside. Dad pulled me too him and I had to tell him everything. We watched a movie together...
