Days later

Eric picked me up as soon as Dr. Lu finally discharged me from the hospital.
As we entered his penthouse, I saw familiar faces waiting for us inside; Joe, my mom and dad, Mason, Kim, Ronald, Angela, a few colleagues from work and Eric's chauffeur, Philip.

"CONGRATULATIONS!!!" They yelled.
"Thank you so much. Everyone, meet Jesse, our son." I said smiling.
"Can I hold him dear?" My mother asked.
"Of course mom." I replied, gently placing Jesse in her arms.

I hugged my father, Mason, Joe and Angela as they congratulated me again.

"Mama, I drew you!" Kim said happily and showed me the drawing.
"This is beautiful, sweetheart. Thank you." I gave her a kiss on her cheeks.
"Congratulations once again Miss Greene." Ronald said to me.
"Ronald, how many times must I tell you to call me Stacey?"
He smiled. "Congratulations, Stacey."
"Thanks again, Ronald."

He nodded and walked away.

"Mama? Why did he call you Miss Greene and not Batman?"
"Bateman... and.. Uh... That's my name sweetheart."
"Not for long." I heard Eric say behind me.

I turned around and saw him on one knee with a blue velvet box in his hand. My eyes widened.

"Stacey, you are the love of my life. I have been in love with you ever since we met at the restaurant. I was just.. too proud to admit it. I know I've made some... mistakes in the past. But I can assure you that I'm a changed man. I regret having done those things, Stacey. So I ask you, in the presence of our loved ones, will you marry me, sweetheart?"

I froze.

"Stacey?" Eric called.
"Eric... I... I don't know..."
"What?" He asked, clearly disappointed.
"I'm just not ready. I'm sorry Eric." I replied and began walking away.

I stopped a few seconds later and slowly turned to stare at him. His gaze was still on me. He looked hurt, confused and heartbroken.
I burst into laughter.

"Of course I'll marry you, silly. I love you so much." I said, still laughing.

He let out a sigh of relief, stood up and walked towards me. Everyone burst out laughing.

"Did you enjoy my little act?" I purred.
"You will regret this, Stacey." He said playfully.
I chuckled. "Now where's that ring?"

He took the ring out of the box and placed it on my finger. It was a silver ring with a huge diamond in the middle.

"It's beautiful... I love you, Eric."
"I love you more, sweetheart."

He placed his lips on mine and kissed me passionately. Everyone begun to clap and cheer for us. We slowly pulled apart.

"I'm still going to punish you for this. No sex for a month once you're completely healed." He whispered in my ear before kissing my lobe.
"You can't do this! Okay, I'm sorry." I whispered loudly.
He smirked. "I can and I will."
"Even you can't wait that long."
"I can, with determination. Besides I thought you said I shouldn't touch you again?" He asked, looking smug.
"I... You... Oh Eric! Please."

He was about to say something but was interrupted by Mason.

"Hey, Stacey?"
"Yes Mason."
"Who is she? And is she single?" He asked, pointing to Angela.
I giggled. "That's Angela, my assistant. And yes, she is."
"That's good. I'm going to... talk to her then. Wish me luck." He said before leaving us.
"Good luck Buddy." Eric said.
I stared at my ring again. "So I'm guessing this was what you wanted to ask me the other night?"
"Yes, Stacey Bateman."
"Stacey Greene-Bateman." I corrected.
"Okay sweetheart." He said, staring at my lips.

I slowly licked them.

"Teasing, are we?"

I nodded.

He groaned. "I can't wait till everyone leaves."
"We can't have sex." I reminded him.
"I know, but there are other ways of enjoying each other." He said, gazing at my chest now.
"Eric..."
"Mmm?"
"Look at me... You're making me feel... uneasy."
"You're wet, aren't you?" He asked with a smirk.
"No." I lied
"Whose hungry? I made pasta." My mother asked.
"I am." We all said at once.
"Eric, Stacey... I hope you don't mind that I used your kitchen."
"Not at all mom." I replied as we all made our way to the dinning table.
"I know you're lying, sweetheart. You are wet. And I'm going to prove it." Eric whispered in my ear as we took our seats.

I ignored him and dug in.
He lifted my skirt up, placed his hand on my thigh and slowly moved up towards my core.
My eyes widened.

"Liar." He mouthed.

He shifted my soaking pantie a little so his hand could make direct contact with my entrance and I shuddered.
He smirked as he slid two long fingers inside me and massaged my spot.

"Mmm..." I moaned, totally forgetting that we weren't alone in the dinning room.
"The pasta is delicious, mother." I added quickly.
"Thank you." She replied.

I shot a warning glare at Eric but that didn't stop him. He slid his thumb in and rubbed my insides slowly. I budged uncomfortably in my seat.

"Are you okay, Stacey." My dad asked.
"Yeah, you seem... uneasy." Eric added, trying to hide his smirk.
"No uh.. I'm... Fine." I replied.

Five minutes later, Eric removed his fingers and sucked on them.

"Mmm... Tastes good, Miss Greene." Eric said, looking at my mother.
"Thanks, dear."

I knew very well that was meant for me.

"So dad, will you be going to see the Knicks game?" I asked, shattering the silence.

Fortunately everyone engaged in the conversation.
