It's been a couple of weeks. Since the day he asked me that question.

"Will you give up on love that easily?"

I don't even know if I should tell my best friends about this, but thinking about Janette's feelings for Marcello, I guess I shouldn't say it. Actually I do need to find out if she really likes him or not, so... why don't I invite them over to a sleepover!

But I need to convince my parents first.

"Mum. Can I have a sleepover?"

She stared at me before replying "what do you mean? You having a sleepover here?"

"Yes."

"Why?"

"Mum please???" I started to plead and then resorting to kneeling on my knees.

"Fine. Who are you inviting? No boys okay."

"Just Janette and Nicola. No boys."

"Okay when are you planning to do it?"

"Ummm. Tonight?"

"Okay." She left me in the living room by myself. This seemed easier than I thought.

⌛︎⌚︎ Time went faster like never before. ⌚︎⌛︎

It was time for the sleepover. I hear knocking on the door. It must be them.

I opened the door seeing my friends made me feel kinda anxious.

I don't know why but I feel like I want to keep it as a secret.

But they're my friends.

I have to tell them.

"Let's go!" I shout trying to shrug off my weird thoughts.

We all ran to my room and jumped onto my bed.

"So why did you want to have a sleepover all of a sudden?" Janette asked.

"I have something to tell you guys." I say looking at my hands.

"What is it??!!!" They both shout whilst leaning forwards towards me.

"BUT FIRST LETS PLAY A GAME." I shout laughing.

"Ughhhh!" They both say.

"What is it?!" Nicola shouts. She makes it so obvious that she's on her period.

"Honesty but there's a twist."

"Oooo. WHAT twist?" Janette asks in curiosity.

"We write all the questions and answers in a notebook so in like 10 years time we could read all the stupid answers and questions we wrote down."

"Coolio." Janette said.

"I'll go first!!!" Nicola screams, grabbing the pen out of my hand.

She slowly writes a question.

"What the FUDGE is taking you so long???" Janette asks Nicola.

"Oh I want my future self to know that I had beautiful handwriting 10 years ago." She said without hesitation.

We all laughed to the idea of having bad handwriting.

"Who's IT for?" I asked.

"You. The question is, if you can't read my beautiful cursive handwriting. What were you going to tell us?"
