"Lets go" Lucien abruptly opened the door after hearing from a stranger outside, he swung the door open and grasped Cassie by her arm before pulling her out.

"What? What do you mean?" She tried to stand up but at the pace Lucien was dragging her, she couldn't. "If you hurt a hair on any of their heads I will personally murder you"l

"You're pretty defensive over people who've don't nothing but hurt you" Lucien observed as he yanked the witch along.

"Don't get me wrong, I'd love to see a fair few of them suffer, but they're Elijah's family. I love Elijah" she grunted as her heels dried to dig in to the cement flooring, but they just simply slid off, one of her hands grasped his arm in a desperate attempt to pull him off so she could make her break, but it was no use, this vampire was stronger than anything she's ever seen.

He lead her up the stairs and out into the open, the light burnt her eyes as she wasn't so used to the sun shining so bright. "Hold on, love" Lucien tightened his grip, causing a groan to escape her mouth, he had some of her hair caught up in his grasp. "This is going to be quite a ride"

Lucien sped her through the bayou and with an rough end, they both landed in the Lafayette cemetery with quite an audience.

"What the hell?" She stood upright and watched the witches in front of her, Cassie turned around and saw that she was surrounded by them, Eloise, Dianne, her mother, they all had front row seating to Cassie's end.

"Ladies, gentleman, where are our final guests?" Lucien called out, like he was the entertainer. As he said so, the crowd parted and three witches brought in three very out of it, vampires.

"Elijah" Cassandra made to run at him, with all of her might but Lucien grasped her back in, pushing her into a circle drawn on the floor. Cassie knew this spell, she could not move out of those borders. She tested her theory by trying to step out, but she was stuck.

"Are we all sitting comfortably?" Lucien shouted with his arms in the air, he was already feeling triumph though nothing had happened yet "witches, this is the moment you've all been waiting for! The end to your enemy, finally Cassandra Munroe..." he turned to her just as she began to feel an invisible force on her throat. Cassandra clawed at her neck to rid the pain, to clear her airways. "Are you prepared to die?"

Please don't hurt them

She tried to speak as Lucien had the barrier lowered so he could enter. Cassie looked to Elijah, her eyebrows knitted in a sorrowful manner. I'm sorry she mouthed to him, but he couldn't reply, he tried wriggling from the grasp he was held in, but it was no use.

They had truly been bettered.

"Wait!" Cassandra managed to croak before Lucien even touched her "I admit, you've bettered us, look, the original vampires are on their knees and here I am. But, you'll never truly have power with these witches around" her words intrigued him, she only spoke in whispers, enough for Lucien to hear but for the witches to not.

"What's your game?" Lucien edged closer to her

"I'm saying, you're connected to Dianne, they're not going to let go of that as soon as we're all dead. You're a vampire, Lucien, strip away all of what they've made you, you're still a vampire. They hate you." She spoke quickly and quietly.

"You seem to believe you're always correct little one" he said "but Dianne and I are not connected, anymore"

"Prove it. From my point of view, the three witches holding those vampires see you as a god, they'd obviously take your side over the side of their coven leader. You're strong, you can take most of these witches with your eyes closed" Cassie could speak as the force had lifted from her throat "you can kill us and still be free to run the city, completely alone"

"And what is in it for you? From what I recall, last time I trusted you, I was betrayed greatly"

"I've been burdened by these witches for years, they ruined every aspect of my life. And still they continue to haunt me, I can rest in peace when I know that they've lost their own battle" she bluffed "before I die, id like to see them suffer"

"Raise the barrier" Lucien took precautions and demanded the barrier to be raised.

"Lucien, what is the meaning of this?" Dianne strode up, she became uneasy when she saw them speaking and now she was frightened that Cassie had manipulated him.

"Dianne" Lucien smiled "there's been a slight change in plan"

"Lucien, do you realise you aren't free to make your own decisions" she raised her hand and slit it with a small dagger she held "I own you, now get back to your task before I am forced to to more than just a slit on the palm"

Lucien looked towards his hand and raised it, showing how clean and free of blood it was. "As I said, change of plan"

At that point he realised that Cassandra was indeed correct. He would never be free from the witches if he was to kill the heretic. Whilst they're occupied in other engagements, Lucien could do it now, stopping them from taking up the heretics power and becoming stronger.

Lucien sped forward and quickly snapped the neck of the coven leader, sending all of the witches into a frenzy.

Cassandra watched as the events unfolded as she had said exactly. The witches still held a tight grasp on the originals but the other witches had kept Lucien occupied, he was killing all of them.

Cassie dropped to the floor when she was certain that Lucien would not see through her plan. Her hands grasped onto the floor as she absorbed every single bit of magic that went into creating that spell.

Cassandra took all of the magic in and then immediately ran over, through the crowds and to the three witches.

"You're going to regret doing this" there were two men holding Rebekah and Klaus, and one female holding onto Elijah. The first man spoke but Cassie ignored him, snapping his neck, and then the other man dropped to the floor.

Instead of holding onto Elijah, the girl, she ran fast. Cassandra made sure the vampires were well before she took off after her.

Elijah immediately jumped up, it seemed as their grip wasn't just a grip, they were weakening them by the second by their touch. When they were broke off, they were perfectly well.

He lifted his siblings to their feet and motioned for them to follow him, after Cassandra.

She had cornered the witch in a tomb when they reached her. Cassandra looked a bit on the rough side, with dried blood on her skin, and she was growling at the cowering witch.

"Please, please spare me" she was crying "it's not you, it's not you he'll go after"

Cassandra furrowed her eyebrows "what do you mean?" She asked, turning around to the Mikaelson's to show her confusion.

"He had a plan B, and a C and a D. If you escaped, he wouldn't go after you first, he wouldn't go after any of you" she was crying and hyperventilating.

"Who?" Cassie leant down, "who is he after?"

"Klaus' child, and her mother, he's after both of them. You have to hurry, he might be there now he's realised you've gone" she admitted.

Cassie stepped back and turned to the family. "He's after Hayley and Hope" she realised "we have to go"

She nodded to them and all three turned around, but Cassie never liked loose ends. Her hands grasped the head of the witch until she heard a snap.
