We arrived at 'Stratos University and started unpacking. It was Friday 1st September, the school term starts on Monday 4th September. I wanted an early start so I could go site seeing and get familiar with the school and surroundings. As we finished unpacking, Amy gave me a hug and cried as she headed out.

'Stratos University provides you a free stay at their campus, I guess that's one of the perks of getting into a good school. The university was within walking distance from the dorms. I'd say a 15-minute walk but I do enjoy strolling so I didn't mind.

I promised Amy I'd take care of myself which she refused at first but I insisted, I mean she's done so much more for me than I could ever imagine, now it's time to stand on my own two feet. I'll probably find work somewhere to help support myself. I guess it'll be a good experience for future purposes.

As I finished unpacking everything I headed outside. Christian said he'd pay me a visit later, Christians family is well off, so he's staying at one of their town-houses which is close to the school's campus. He asked me to stay with him but I refused... For obvious purposes.

I headed outside, walking towards the university. 'Stratos University is known for its beautiful scenes and breathtaking architecture and really makes u love nature. As I enjoyed the afternoon breeze someone called out.

"Yo dude", the voice says

I turn around to see this scruffy-looking dude.

He was quite tall, a lot of facial hair. He looked like a delinquent.

"Urm.. Can you tell me where the first-year dorms are located?", he askes.

"Yeah... It's close by, just follow the pathway and you'll see a big green building", I respond.

"Oh thanks, dude", he says.

As he scurried of I pictured how cute he'd look if he shaved. Why am I picturing this you ask?

Cause I'm a guy, it's what we do. We look... And that's really it.

According to Amy, there should be a grocery close by, I finally found it after asking around. I bought some stuff and decided to make dinner for Christian and me.

Christian came over at 7 pm. I was just about finished making dinner. I made Pasta, according to Christian I'm a great cook .... Which is a lie, only selected foods.

"I was assigned class 1-B", says Christian with a mouth full of Pasta.

"So was I", I smile

"Good, then we'll get to be together then", he blushes.

"Agreed, let's do our best", I assure

"I'm glad there'll be someone I know here, I don't really make friends easily, so I'm really glad to have you", he blushes.

"Erm. Thanks, Chris", I bluntly respond.

I know about his feelings toward me, it may seem like I'm being cold but I really don't wanna lose the strong friendship we have going so I pretend not to acknowledge his feelings. I really don't wanna give him the wrong idea. I refuse to hurt him...

As he ate the pasta silently I felt quite bad and apologized.

"I'm aware that you don't feel the same way but I guess id rather be in your life than your friend than nothing at all, I'll always look after you", smiles Christian.

I then smiled in reassurance. He really is a good guy.

I saw him off then went to bed.
