PEOPLE JUDGE YOUR BOOKS BY THEIR COVERS!
I must admit, I am guilty of this... I walk into my library, or bookstore, and I look for a cover that catches my eye. Then I read the summary, and decide what I'll do with the book from there.
So, the thing is, I won't pick up a book with a terrible cover. No offense. I don't mean to do it, but the cover is what you see before you read the book, and thus, it is quite important'! I'm not looking for an eyesore...
So, you should get a good cover made for your books. I don't care what your read count is! I care how good your book is, and to read your book, I first must like your cover.
So get a cover done up. You can make one yourself, or find someone who could make one for you! If you do this, it should get people's attention, and thus get you more reads! ;-)
