[Ch. 28] The Letter

7:10pm

Mike's P.O.V

I just finish up cleaning as the door to the apartment opens.

"Where were you?" Is the first thing I ask.

"A self defense class that I absolutely failed at." He sighs. "I'm not doing it anymore though."

"Why?" I close the cabinet and look at him.

"Uh...You know that guy in the store?" He looks at me as well.

I nod

"He turned out to be Fritz's brother and tried to...Yeah...And he has schizophrenia apparently like he seems obsessed with me and it's scary." He says quickly. 

"What?" I look astonished .

"Yeah." Vincent looks down. "What do I do?"

"It's alright." I sigh angrily. "I won't let him near you. Hold on let me go get the mail and then we'll continue this conversation." I run out the door and downstairs to the lobby of the apartment. I scan the mailboxes until I find mine and open the tiny door to it, taking out the stack of mail. I run upstairs and back into our apartment. I browse through the papers quickly. Something catches my eye.

"This one says it's for you." I hand it to Vincent.

"What?" He takes the envelope from me. "But no one knows that I live with you."

"That's weird..." I state as he opens the envelope. "What does it say."

He doesn't answer for a while as he reads the letter.

"What does it say?!" I ask anxiously.

"Okay I'm sorry! Look at it! Oh god." He says in a panicked tone of voice. I snatch the piece of paper from him and begin to read it. I realize that the hand writing is very messy.

Dear Vincent my love

I hope you're doing well~

Do you miss me like I miss you?~

Are you wondering when we'll get to see each other again? Oh don't worry...I'll take care of that. I'll make sure we see each other very soon

I'm going to tell you this once

I want you~

Don't make me repeat myself

I can't believe you're still with that asshole...

Mike? Is his name? ;))

Trust me babe I can give it to you better then he can

I'll have you screaming in ten different ways

Be expecting me at any time~
