"UGH," Carmen groaned, her gloved hands lazily punching the hanged sack before her. "UGHHH."

"What?" Piers yells from across the training room of Rhiannon's home, lowering his grip on his black bow. The rest of the pack stood at their own stations within the room, working out and talking among themselves.

"Do I really have to do this?" She complains, resting her head on the large punching bag.

"You're supposed to be the strongest out of all of us, so, yes." Luke remarks.

"Punching this sack for 30 minutes isn't going to do that," Carmen retorts, "I want to actually fight someone. I'm not an amateur, you know."

"Fine." Nina chimes in, taking her headphones out and setting them on the bench she was previously sat at. "Since Carmen thinks she's such an amazing fighter, are there any volunteers?"

"I would volunteer but I'd rather sit here and watch her in her spandex," Casey remarks nonchalantly, leaning on the far wall sporting his tank top and nike shorts, even though he hadn't touched a piece of equipment since they arrived there. Piers shoots him a warning look in defense of his little sister and she merely rolls her eyes, picking at her nail patiently.

"Wouldn't it have to be with someone she doesn't care about anyways?" Rhiannon speaks as she emerges from the stairway, apple in hand. "If it's with someone she cares about, she'll just heal them within the next minute and the whole purpose is kind of defeated."

"Pretty sure she hates Casey," Nina suggests, cocking an eyebrow at him.

Carmen nods lightly, causing him to groan. He jumps up onto his feet and stretches for a few seconds before muttering a "Fine, let's go."

They take their spots in the middle of the room and the others stand off to the side, spectating.

"I won't go easy on you," Casey forewarns, hissing at her with his canines.

She converts and feels her new blue eyes flash at him, a surge of power coming over her. They all thought she was a weak little girl. Everyone thought that. Now, it was time to prove them wrong.

Carmen begins to charge for Casey, but right before she claws at him she jumps back, faking him out and watching him fall forward. She then brings her foot up to his jaw and sends him flying backwards, earning "Ooh"s from the rest pack on the wall. Casey laughs cheekily and cracks his fingers, getting up slowly.

"Two can play dirty."

"I'm not playing it dirty," Carmen smiles, "I'm playing it smart."

He has an abrupt mood change and charges for her first this time. Head to head, the two rivals clash and bring each other to the ground. Carmen successfully scrambles to the top, smirking down evilly at Casey below her. She brings her hands up to his arms, pinning him down.

"Enjoying the view?" Casey jokes.

Carmen rolls her eyes at his smug comment and snaps his arm backwards, breaking it. The echo of the snap sounds off the basement walls. He yells out and she gets up, ready to kick him while he was down, but he reaches out with his other hand and catches her foot before she was able. He swipes her leg from under her and causes her to fall, hitting her head on the ground roughly.

She moans out in pain and they both lay, writhing on the ground from their injuries. But Carmen wasn't giving up yet. Though the room was spinning and she had no real sense of direction anymore, she still found the energy within her to continue fighting.

She stands and picks Casey up, throwing him to the far wall with all of her strength. He groans and falls to the ground, coughing furiously. Carmen lets a small grin overtake her face at her small victory, which is short-lived when she hears something behind her. An arrow was whizzing her way, fast.
