***This is a special update. Actually don't count this as an update lol I'm going to speed up the timeline a bit, but before that I want to showcase a little of Yara's accomplishments in a "slideshow" type post. ****

Yara's POV

Hey y'all! It's been a minute because I've been enjoying my summer before I shoot season 3 of Blackish. I'm going to take y'all through a slideshow of one of the best summers I've had.

1. Here's me caught off guard with my Gracie award. Pretty awesome & my TV twin siblings presented it to me.

2. Grandma Tina posing for the 'gram. Isn't she cute on Instagram? Follow her!

3. So far I've done speaking engagements for different organizations and joined panels to talk about diversity in television and film. Oh and I'm now signed to CAA which is a pretty big deal. #Blessed

I should probably give y'all an update on my family, huh? Well Mommy is currently filming season 2 of Shades of Blue in NYC so I've spent most of my time with my mom on her Formation World Tour. That was pretty cool, but the ultimate highlight was Mommy & Casper breaking up. Call me petty, but I didn't like him and he needed to go.

Anyway back to my pictures.

6. BET awards prep. Multiple wardrobe changes I had.

7. I'm smiling so wide because Tracee is everything! Like...She's my TV mama! #IWin

8. Still obsessed with Hamilton. I would wear this shirt daily if mom allowed me.

Thanks for going through my slideshow! Can't wait to start back shooting Blackish, and gearing up for senior year in HS. Besides Blackish, the next big thing to prepare for is the Emmys! What will I wear?!?!
