39. Reunited!

FIRST PERSON P.O.V

"Naruto.." I looked at him from the corner of my eyes and smiled. I knew he meant it from the bottom of his heart, the friendship we had was so strong and nothing could change that. "Naruto, I love you too, you know that? You're very important to me." I put a hand on his shoulder and rubbed it gently. As I look straight into his eyes, I couldn't help but feel something strange..

His eyes were filled with pain and sadness. Maybe even something else..but I couldn't figure out what it was. I couldn't put my finger on it, but before I could ask him, he ruffled my hair and sent me a small smile for only me to see. "I'll be there on time-"

"You can go right now 'ttebane!"

"Mhm! Mhm!" Minato agreed and nodded his head violently trying to help his wife convince his son to go right now. "You haven't seen each other, so of course it's good to catch up on stuff, right?"

"Exactly 'ttebane!" Kushina clasper her hands together and smiled brightly. "Go along now, it's freezing out here!" She encouraged and pushed Naruto and I close together. "There..in order to stay even warmer."

"M-Mom.." Naruto stuttered out with a small blush on his cheeks. "This is not necessary 'ttebayo." He assured and took a step back away from me, but before he could I pulled him back.

"Non-sense! I'm real cold, you know? It is freezing out here!" I shivered and intertwined my fingers with Naruto's. It wasn't bad to do this, was it? We were close friends, and Sasuke would understand too.

"Naruto, you stay there as long as you want!" Minato assured as Kushina kept smiling innocently at the both of us. They were acting a bit strange.. it sort of scared me, haha.

"Well, okay 'ttebayo. If that's what you want..." Naruto replied and his blue orbs looked down, only to see my hand holding tightly onto his. I took a notice of this, so I started feeling uncomfortable because I'm guessing he felt uncomfortable and I just-

"Are you okay with this?" I asked just to make sure he was okay, because he seriously looked like he was about to faint. That was not good news. His head perked up and he cleared his throat.

"I like it. I like this 'ttebayo."

"Ah- okay, good to know.."

"Have a good one (f/n) 'ttebane!"

"Take care Naruto!"

THIRD PERSON P.O.V

(F/n) and Naruto had finally arrived to the (h/c)-haired girl's home, much to Naruto's disappointment. He loved the way she stayed closed to him for warmth, he loved the way her hand held tightly onto his. It was the most beautiful feeling. His thoughts got interrupted when the beautiful girl in front of him started to yell.

"Hey! Sasuke! Open up!" (F/n) yelled as she knocked on the door with her free hand. She stopped when she heard her boyfriend's voice coming from the other side saying he will be there in a minute. The girl took a second to sniffle. That was the moment that she realized she had a running nose. She hated it.

Another disadvantage.

Naruto looked at (f/n) and smiled seeing how beautiful she was. "Heh..(f/n) you have snowflakes in your hair 'ttebayo." He reached out for a lock of her (h/c) hair, and saw how the snowflakes made her locks seem white.
