Zoey

I had baby Eli with me shopping in the store. I attempted to fix myself up a little because I figured it would make me feel better. I'm tired of fighting with Ezra...I'm done.

I stared at Eli in his car seat just staring at me. He's so cute and he is E's twin. I smiled a little at him.

"I love you so much Eli, you're so cute." I said speaking out loud.

"Who are you talking to?" A deep male voice said from behind me.

I jumped a little and turned around and my eyes nearly fell out. I just stared at him.

"Wh-What are you doing? Stalking me?" I asked.

"Nah, just a coincidence. How you been?" He said.

"I've been great." I lied.

He stared at me like "yeah right".

"You sure?"

"Kyron...what are you doing here?" I asked.

He laughed. "Shopping just like you."

I hate I don't look as I good I use to because he's just been staring and I look like I'm sleep deprived.

He stepped next to me and look down at baby Eli in the cart.

"Handsome little guy, congratulations." Kyron said.

"Thanks, he's my heart." I said.

I stared at Kyron and he had grown into this very handsome & well groomed man since the last time I saw him years ago. He looks like he's a CEO or something.

"You okay?" He asked.

"Yes, I'm fine." I smiled.

"I don't mean to be intrusive but where's your ring? I couldn't imagine my wife leaving without hers on." He said.

I looked away from his eyes. "I forgot it this morning when I was rushing out with the baby. I didn't realize you were married."

I tried changing the attention from off of me because it's embarrassing that everyone knows my business but if he doesn't then I'm not gonna speak on it.

"I'm very much single, waiting for God to send the right one. I'm not rushing it." He stated.

"I-um--Kyron, I should get going. I'm sorry."

"It's cool, you mind getting lunch one day on me?" He asked.

"I don't think that would be appropriate and I'm not sure Ezra would be okay with it." I said.

"I'm not gonna take you from him, it's just lunch Zoe." He said smiling.

"...umm, well I guess. Just lunch and nothing else." I told him.

"That's fine Zoey, we can get lunch tomorrow?"

"Yeah, sure." I spoke nervously.

"Cool. Here's my card. My number is on it. I'll see you later." He said handing me the card before walking off.

What did I just agree to? I can't mention this to Ezra because he would flip. I guess it isn't that bad since he's doing his own thing.

I got the few things I needed and went to Brea's house.
