You were fighting as hard as you could against the White Walkers. They'd managed to break through into your little village and were killing free folk left and right. As you were fighting you felt someone bump into your back. You spun around, ready to kill but stopped short when you realized it was another one of the free folk. Tormund Giantsbane to be exact. He gave you a curt nod and turned back to the fray.

As soon as there was a free moment, Tormund motioned for you to follow him. You turned on your heel and scurried after him. You slashed through as many White Walkers as you could, knowing it wouldn't do any good. You had to get to the boats. By the time you made it there, your legs felt like they were on fire and your heart was pounding.

You climbed in the boat just behind Tormund and sank down. You glanced over your shoulder and saw the people of your village, the ones left behind, open their eyes. They were now bright blue, practically glowing. You suppressed a shudder and turned away. They were the only family you'd ever known and now they were gone. The parts of them that mattered anyway.

When you turned to look at what was ahead, your (h/c) met a pair of familiar dark grey ones. "What a surprise. Told you we'd met again, Crow," you muttered. He and Tormund were the only ones to hear you. Jon's eyes widened for a moment before narrowing again. "You know him?" Tormund asking you and you nodded."She hit me...twice." Tormund chuckled and tuned out so you and Jon could talk.

"I only hit you the second time so yer men wouldn't see you as weak," you told him, still staring into the fog ahead. "You did not have to hit me again," he grumbled and you laughed. Crows certainly complained a lot. You shrugged and hugged your sword closer. You didn't know what awaited you on the other side of the Wall, but you were going to be prepared.

*time skip*

You sat as far away from the Crows as possible. You hated them and they hated you, but you knew you had to work with them to keep the White Walkers at bay. Still, you avoided them all except for Jon. He wasn't like the rest of them and you sort of knew why. Tormund had told you about Jon's brief relationship with Ygritte.

"Your glares mean nothing to them, Y/N," Jon told you and you chuckled. "Maybe not, but it does me a world of good. What do you want?" Jon sighed. "My brothers are not happy with me. They don't trust you or your friends." You scoffed and rolled your eyes. "You're the Lord Commander. No one is happy under a lord's rule, Snow. They don't have to trust us because we don't trust them either." You looked at Jon's face. It was melancholy again.

"What's wrong, Snow? Can't handle the truth?" you asked before pecking his cheek and getting up. Jon's eyes followed your slim figure and he wondered if you were right. He had done the right thing, hadn't he? He'd thought so, but now he wasn't so sure. He knew the brothers of the Night's Watch were angry...livid even. If only he had known just how angry they truly were.

A few nights went by and you heard a commotion outside. You ran out to find several Crows with Jon. They all had knives and were prepared to strike. Before you could register what you were doing, you ran to Jon's aide. You didn't know why you did, but you did. You pushed him out of the way just as the first Crow took his shot. You felt the knife sinking into your flesh and you stifled a scream.

You unsheathed your sword as best you could and began fighting. You were losing a lot of blood, however and it made it difficult to defend yourself against the Crows. You felt several more blades piercing your skin before you finally fell to the ground in a pool of your own blood. By that time, several others had heard the ruckus and the mutineers were taken to the kennels. Jon sank down to his knees next to you and took your hand.

"Whydid you do that?" he asked you, his voice soft. You chuckled beforecoughing. "Not sure. Thought it'd be a good way to die," you joked.Jon rolled his eyes. "You did not have to do that. If it was my fate todie, I would have accepted it." You shook your head and sighed. Anothercough escaped passed your lips before you said, "No, Snow. They need youto fight the White Walkers. If you don't, everyone will die. I did what wasright. Now, you do the same." Jon sat there in silence as the light leftyour eyes and you left the world for good.Oi0}2h
