"What do you think?" Bolin and I ask as Korra takes a bite of the noodles.

"Hmm, it's delicious and totally authentic! I didn't realize how much I missed Water Tribe grub." Korra groans as she quickly takes another bunch of noddles.

Laughing, I wipe my mouth "I've come here almost every other day, I can't get enough" .

"Thank you guys" Korra says, as her eyes look at us, her blue eyes shinning "For inviting me out with you".

"No problem" I smile before Korra's eyes dart elsewhere. I was always jealous of her eyes, proving she was of the Water Tribe. While I loved my eyes, I always felt people thought I was an earthbender.

"Hey, who's that creepy guy over there who keeps glaring at us?" Korra asks. Turning my head, I look at a pale man with a girl on each arm. His face is smug, almost as smug at Bato's.

"That's Tahno and the Wolfbats, the reigning champs, three years running. Don't make eye contact." Bolin says before looking down. But Korra and I glare at the man. With a smirk, he gets up, and his company follows him to our table.

He seems familiar.

"Uh-oh, here he comes. Now don't mess with this guy, he's a nasty dude." Bolin says before stuffing his face with noddles.

"Well, well, well, if it isn't the Fire Ferrets. Pro-bending's saddest excuse for a team. Tell me, how did a couple of amateurs like you luck your way into the tournament? Especially you, Avatar. You know, if you'd like to learn how a real pro bends, I could give you some private lessons." Tahno says, his face paler than Bolin's shocked expression.

"You wanna go toe-to-toe with me, pretty boy?" Korra hisses as she stands up. Even though she was shorter than him, confidence and rage beamed from her.

"Go for it. I'll give you the first shot." Tahno smirks as a long piece of hair hangs in his face.

"Korra, don't. He's just trying to bait you. If you hit him, we're out of the tournament." Bolin whispers to Korra. Still glaring at the man, she whistles, Naga quickly popping through the window and snarling loudly at Tahno, who stumbles back.

"Whoa, ho, ho, I've never seen someone harass Tahno like that" Bolin cheers as I slide out of the booth.

"I'll be right back" I announce before moving towards Tahno's table.

"You're hurting me!" I wail as Tahno holds my arm behind my back.

His face comes to my level before spitting "Good".

"Hi Tahno" I say as I grab the gruff of his shirt, yanking him out of the girls arms. "Let's have a chat, like old times".

Pulling him outside, he yanks away from my grasp until he frees himself.

"Just can't get enough of me, can you Miss Lee?" Tahno laughs, his face even smugger than before.

I step up, and just like how Korra did it, I'm in his face. "What are you doing Tahno?" I ask, my voice hard. His face turns into a smirk as he gets closer into my face. "What am I doing? What are you doing? Frolicking around with the Avatar like you're all that, please" Tahno hisses.

Pain shot through my arm as he let go of me. Tears flowed down my face as another set of arms picked me up.

"What's wrong?" Grandpa asks as I catch the glimpse of Tahno running way.

Before I knew Korra, I lived in Republic City. Some people didn't enjoy the grandchild of a councilman waltzing around, so bullies like Tahno set out to destroy it. He bullied me almost everyday until I left the city. It wasn't till after I met Korra that I found my waterbending, so Tahno had no clue I could bend.

"So what if I am?" I sneer, my eyes turning into slits "At least I'm not still stuck in the same, sad route of hurting people for fun".

"Oh my, you've really hurt me this time Dakota" Tahno chuckles before getting closer to my face. "Let's get to the reason why you're really here" he whispers. His eyes dart to his left before training in on me.

Suddenly, he grabs my body, and unlike Bolin, his grip is hard, sending pain through me. He pulls me to him forcefully before slamming his lips down onto mine.

My face scrunches up in disgust as I try to pull away, but his grip is too strong. Even kissing me, he smirks, which makes this forced interaction even worse.

I hear a clatter of footsteps run off, but I'm focused on the disgusting person on me at the moment.

With a growl, I finally shove him off me. "Arlgh!" I spit as I wipe my mouth "What did you eat that made your breath smell that bad?".

My temper has risen, something it rarely did. All I could think of was freezing him to a wall.

He flips his hair before glaring at me "Would you rather have me pin your arm behind your back?" he asks smugly.

"Dakota!" Korra yells as she looks at me, her eyes wide. "Oh no, the Avatar, too bad she can't lay a hand on me" Tahno sneers before cracking his knuckles "Or you".

"Leave Tahno" I warn, hoping he'll listen.

"Please, you still walk around this city like you own it, even though your grandpa died and your grandma is older than dirt. But who's going to protect you now?" Tahno chuckles.

"I can protect myself" I growl before raising my hands, pulling water  out of the air. Before anyone can even blink, I clench my fists and move my body forward, the water turns to ice shards and circles Tahno.

Tahno looks around, his eyes wide. "H-How, how can you bend water?" he stutters.

How badly I wanted to hurt him, like he hurt me. But I couldn't.

Taking a calm breath, I lower my relaxed hands, the ice shards transforming into gas and fading into the air.

"Let's hope we don't meet like this again" I say  jumping onto Naga.
