I was comfortably seated next to my good friend, ruffling her short blonde hair and she was poking my shoulder.
"Do you ever get tired of sitting around and waiting for your turn?" she asked. We kept poking at each other, a strange little game we'd developed a few years back. We just keep poking.
I nodded, "I do, I do. Are you okay?"
Sunny nodded and smiled, "yeah. I just really feel weird going on-stage when one of us is missing, let alone two."
I knew the feeling. It does suck to either miss a performance or have somebody be missing...you sort of feel crippled like a body part is gone.
"I'm sure Yuri and YoonA both wish they were here too, Sunkyu."
She turned and pushed me harshly, "don't call me that!" she whined and I laughed.
I was waiting for the rest of my girls to come out of the dressing room so I could enjoy the show, since our set was pretty much done.
"Sunny-a, come on!" Tiffany appeared out of nowhere and pulled Sunny by the elbow, the latter squealed in delight.
"Are we next?!" she asked. I sat back and folded my hands behind my head.
"In ten minutes so come on, we have to rehearse! Hey Amber, feeling good?!" she said the last half in English.
"Good as I can be." I shot her a smile that she returned.
"...even together for almost five years and we still have to rehearse this much..." Sunny was muttering as she was pulled away, in full aegyo-mode.
I checked my phone and replied to my sister, saying thanks for coming to visit me at the hotel earlier today. I then stood and walked back to our dressing room, opening it and clapping as soon as I got inside.
"Come on people, places to go people to see!" I said with a smile, walking up to a seated Sulli and poking her on the neck, then pinching Victoria's cheek.
They were all sitting in a circle, and it wasn't until then that I realized how...weird this all was.
"What's going on?" I asked.
Krystal turned around with a serious face and I looked at them again.
"Is there something you're not telling us?" she held out a picture and I took it, feeling my gut drop.
I haven't seen this guy since I was like fifteen, but I did remember him. It was a picture of me and a um...friend? I guess. We were hanging out at my old high school, his arm was around me and he was kissing me while I was flashing a smile into the camera.
