"Can we actually stop and look inside the stores this time?" Sulli asked me, adjusting her sunglasses and holding onto my arm.
I nodded, "yep! We can do whatever you want."
She pointed forward, "fa-rosen yogur!" she pointed at the nearby Pinkberry's, nearly jogging to it. She probably remembered it from the last trip here, when she ate about three cups by herself.
It was our first morning in California and after arriving late last night and sleeping in, she had woken me up with breakfast and a huge smile while insisting I eat quickly so we could start the day. After I called Josh and ask he and a couple of our friends meet us at the outdoor shopping center a few miles away, we took off.
We walked inside the air-conditioned shop and pulled out one cup each, and I instantly walked to the vanilla flavored frozen yogurt then gravitated to the crushed Oreo's for a topping. I grabbed my spoon and walked to the counter, pulling out my wallet before placing my cup on the scale so it could be weighed for price.
"Ssul!" I said, turning around and seeing her hopping from stand to stand, adding more to her cup.
"SHHHHHHHH!" she hissed at me, skipping back and putting her cup next to mine.
I paid for them and said thank you to the cashier, and Sulli held the door open for me. "Do gummy worms have fat?"
I smacked her forehead gently, "it's a vacation. Eat whatever you want."
We walked to a nearby boutique, browsing quickly because we heard somebody say Sulli's name and feared we had been spotted. We liked being in the States because we had a solid fanbase, but unlike back in Korea not very many people recognized us right off the bat so we had a little more freedom to roam around when we pleased.
Sulli tilted her cup upside down into her mouth as she walked and I grabbed the last of my yogurt with the spoon, both of us tossing our now empty containers into the closest trash can.
Sulli smiled at me and rubbed her hands together, "hyung?"
"Mm?"
"Are you going to move here when we're finished as a group?" she looked at the stores as we passed them by and her eyes stayed looking at something for a bit before she looked away again but linked her arm with mine.
I fixed my hat, "I dunno. Maybe?"
She grinned, "I like it here. It'd be nice to come visit you."
I sighed, "it's a little hard to picture living in a different place than you after all these years." I nudged her ribs with my elbow.
She smiled but it disappeared when she looked to her left, "do you know them?" she asked.
