Caleb Black's POV

The day went on like it usually did. Nothing seemed to be out of place or suspicious but I still couldn't help but think that something was wrong. I had managed to complete all my paper work and filing for the pack and all the males did their three hours of training.

I got knocked a few times during training today, which is unusual because I am the strongest out of all the pack members and it was the first time in years that multiple people have been able to catch me off guard. I kept getting distracted by something. Something was definitely wrong and I knew it. I just didn't know what it was and I was getting frustrated about it.

I had done extra training with my beta after the rest of the males had gone home to their families or gone back to work. I sent all my trackers to do extra patrols around the borders to ease my mind a little but still my feeling didn't subside. I even took a run around to whole territory myself but I still felt like something terrible was going to happen.

Once I was satisfied that my pack territory was clean of any intruders, I went back to my office to think. I had trackers all over the territory, I had run the borders myself and I still had trackers doing so, so what could possibly be wrong.

I was starting to get a headache from all the thinking and worrying so I decided to take a nap to recover.

'Hey baby. I've missed you ' my beautiful mate said as she ran towards me.

'Ive missed you too my love. What have you been doing all day?' I asked staring at her beauty

'Not much other than miss you. I turned 16 today' she smiled

'Oh I guess that makes you 16 and never been kissed?' I said as I walked towards her.

I cupped her face with my hands and pressed my lips gently to hers. We kissed each other passionately and then slowly pulled away from each other.

Just as I was about to look into her eyes and tell her how perfect she was, I noticed she wasn't there. She was gone.

I shot awake and frowned once I realized it was all just a dream. I was alone once again.

I checked the time and notice that it was past 10pm already. I was feeling hungry so I decided to go down to the kitchen to make myself some Cheerios.

Once I had eaten, I had called my beta and told him that we needed to do another border patrol. So we gathered a few trackers and we ran my territory twice, but still, nothing.

Once we got back, I went upstairs to my office to try and get some more work done, but now, the feeling that something was wrong was stronger than ever. I couldn't help but feel that it was something to do with my mate. She had said in my dream that she had turned 16 today but it was just a dream after all.

'Alpha! There is a she-wolf that has trespassed on the territory. Do we have your permission to take her to the cells?' One of my best trackers mind linked me.

'Yes. Take her to the cells. I will be down there in a few minutes. Don't make me wait!' I mind linked them.

I knew that something was going to happen and this was it. Some stupid she-wolf trespassed on my territory?

I got up from my chair and started to walk towards the cells when the most delicious scent caught my attention. It smelt like vanilla and caramel. MATE! My wolf screamed. I ran as fast as I could towards the cells and found the most beautiful colored wolf I have ever seen. She was completely white with brown paws and one brown ear.

I suddenly growled at the trackers standing near her. "MINE!" I roared and they all cowered away in fear.

I ran towards my mate and picked her up in my arms, just like I have wanted to do for five years. I carried her wolf body back to my room and settled he on my bed.

As soon as she looked comfortable, walked down the stairs to interrogate the trackers who had found her.

"Why the hell is she unconscious!?" I growled at them all.

"S-so-sorry Alpha. We thought s-she was an intruder. " one of them said

"If any of you ever touch what is mine ever again, I will have your heads! That is your Luna in there. You have purposely harmed your Luna!"

"I apologize Alpha. If I had known, I wouldn't have layed a finger on her." The other said and I knew he was being honest because nobody in this pack would ever hurt the Luna purposely because they know that they would have to deal with me if they did.

"You are dismissed. But don't think for a second that you are forgiven." I said as sternly and I could be.

I walked back up the stairs to find my mate wide awake and looking around the room. You could clearly she that she was very confused and it was the cutest thing that I had ever seen. As soon as she smelt me, her head snapped in my direction and her beautiful blue orbs locked with my gold ones.

"Shift" I ordered her but it came out as more of a plead

She didn't have to be told twice as she shifted into her human form and covered herself with my blankets.

She was definitely the most beautiful girl I had ever seen in my life. She looked nothing like the girl in my dreams, she was perfect.

I walked towards her and sat on the bed next to her " I'm Caleb"

"Alaska" she smiled

Then I heard her whisper the words I was dying to hear. "Mate"
