Chapter Nineteen

I stared at her in bewilderment, "What! Are you serious?"

She nodded, biting her lip and blinking rapidly.

"That can't be true! You've been dating for ages, he loves you," I exclaimed, feeling furious at Calvin and Gina.

When had this happen? How could he have betrayed Lizzie?

"I shouldn't have left you if I knew this was going to happen," I mumbled, "I feel so stupid."

"It's not your fault Rose, besides you had a good time, didn't you?" she questioned, waggling her eyebrows.

I blushed in response and nodded.

"Oh my goodness, you're blushing! What happened, did you...are you guy together?" she questioned, staring at me intently.

I nodded, not meeting her gaze. Hopefully she wouldn't ask me to tell her all the details.

"So...what did you guys do?" she asked. I looked up to her; she seemed genially curious, and happier.

I sighed, she deserved to know since she was the one who was cheering us along for all that time, and it would keep her mind of things as well.

"Well, we went to a hotel-" I started off until Lizzie rudely interrupted me.

"Oh my God! Did you do it?" she asked, shrieking in excitement.

I felt my cheeks burn, "Lizzie," I mumbled.

"Oh my god! You did! Right, sorry, please continue," she requested, with a huge grin on her face.

"Then we had dinner and Vincent booked two rooms, but I couldn't accept that since it was too expensive, so like the asshole I am, I told the receptionist to just book one room."

"Smart movie Rose!" she smiled.

Rolling my eyes, I continued, "so then we went to our room and I needed help to take my dress off, and no Lizzie, I wasn't doing that for him to get in my pants, although for someone reason we did," I stated, furrowing my eyebrows. It's not that I was a virgin or anything, in fact I've only had two official boyfriends, Ross, who was the first guy I dated during the chaos with my parents, we dated for a year until he left me since his dad found a job in Los Angeles, he was the only person beside Vincent who knew about my secret, but I excluded the fact that my parents were drug addicts, he was always there for me, so when he told me he was leaving, it broke my heart and that's when I literally threw myself at him, but that was two years ago, and now Vincent is the one I love now.

"Earth to Rosalie," sang Lizzie, interrupting me from my thoughts.

I scrunched my nose trying to remember where I was about to, "right, so then he saw my scars and asked me how I got them, and I knew he didn't believe my 'fighting' story, so I decided to tell him the truth."

Nodding her head in understanding, she beckoned for me to continue.

"So I told him, and then he kissed me, and we confessed to each other...you can imagine the rest," I mumbled, blushing.

I wasn't going to tell Lizzie Vincent also told me something about his parents, it was personal, and I'm sure he wouldn't be too content if I decided to tell Lizzie.

"When you say we confessed, do you mean you and Vincent?" she grinned.

I rolled my eyes, "maybe..."

"Oh my God! You totally did!" she laughed, spinning around and grabbing my hands, "Love is in the air!" she started singing.

"You do realise you tend to say 'oh my God' quite a lot, don't you?" I smirked in amusement and Lizzie's reaction. She could be so optimistic even after everything that she's going through.

Calvin

That bastard.

Someone needs to do the dirty to that piece of shit.

"Hey Lizzie, I'll be right back. I need to sort some things out," I told her. She stared at me with a puzzled expression.

I handed her my mini suitcase.

"Here, you can check out the new clothes Vincent gave me, and if you want, you can borrow some."

I gave her a small smile before walking to the house.

"Calvin," I grumbled, knocking on his bedroom door furiously.

After several knocks the bastard decided to open the door.

I brought my fist up and punched him hard in the face, my face burning in fury.

He stared at me in shock before turning into understanding, "I guess I deserved that," he winced, rubbing his jaw.

"Like hell you do," I yelled, slamming the door behind me, "now would you please fucking explain to me what you were doing kissing that bitch behind Lizzie's back?"

Calvin walked towards the bed taking a seat and placed his hands in front of his face, shaking his head.

"Calvin?" I asked, furrowing my eyebrows. What's wrong with him? Is her crying? Pretending to play innocent?

"Don't pretend to be innocent," I scoffed.

It was silent for a moment before Calvin broke the silence.

"Why is this happening to me? All I wanted was to spend some decent time with Lizzie! And then all this fucking shit happens," he yelled grabbing the remote and throwing it across the room, breaking into pieces.

"Calvin?" I asked, slightly scared. "What happened?" I asked confused. Hesitantly, I took a step towards him and bent down in front of him

"Calvin, please explain to me what happened, I can't stand seeing Lizzie like this. I know something happened, you're not like this, you love Lizzie, you'd never hurt her."

Calvin removed his hands from his face; I enjoyed seeing the slight bruise which was forming on his jaw.

"All I want to do is get away from here," he muttered, ignoring my request.

"What happened Calvin? You know you can tell me anything!" I exclaimed, getting extremely frustrated that this conversation wasn't going anywhere.

"The thing is I can't. If I didn't come here none of this shit would happen, this is all your fault," he glared at me.

I scoffed at his comment, "my fault? Seriously Calvin? First off, this is your fault since you're the one who got messed up with Gina, secondly, I'm only trying to help you, I thought it would be a good idea for you and Lizzie to spend some time together, and Australia seemed perfect at the time, so when I try to fix your problems and help out, that's what you tell me? That's it my fault?"

I stood up and walked towards the door, before walking out I turned around and faced Calvin.

"And you know what Calvin? I thought you and Lizzie were perfect together, but I guess I was wrong. You're a dog, and Lizzie deserves someone much better than you, I'm glad this 'trip' helped me realised this."

Turning around on my heel, I slammed the door and walked towards my bedroom.
