thoughts spread through her mind like wildfire.
the good and bad, the best and worst.
the moments of them.
her sorrow taking over her emotions, she was curled up into a ball into the bathroom floor of the tainted school.
sobs racking through her body, she shut her eyes.
everything in her life was blurry. it was blue.
it was swimming in clear blue tears, flowing down her cheeks like the water in the ocean depths.
she was slowly letting go.
slowly but surely, letting go of him.
because she knew he had no need of her anymore.
she was just a friend.
and she knew she was his light.
and he was her dark.
and she was just,
gray.
