We both ended up at the garden. The place was beautiful, especially at night. It had fireflies that couldn't possibly be real and the fountain was illuminated from below, giving a romantic air to it.

We both sat down in one of those Greek-styled benches, not too far from the fountain and sat beside each other. I bit my lip, not knowing what to do next.

Julian beat me to it by facing me and saying, "Look, about what you saw here that day. I just... I wanted to tell you that it was all Stacey, I swear it. I came here to think about..." He glanced at me. "about something and then she just appeared out of nowhere and kissed me. I didn't know you were watching so I just decided not to tell you. I didn't mean for everything to become so messed up. I just..." He paused and clenched hi jaw before shifting his gaze to meet mine. After a while he said, "I was thinking about you that day. I was planning to ask you to become my date for homecoming but Stacey-"

I silence him with a kiss on the cheek. "Stop talking." I said, staring into his deep sea green eyes. They were very bright under the moonlight. I gave him a small smile. "I don't care what happened. You're here with me, aren't you?"

He nodded and smiled his brilliant smile. He stared back at me before finally capturing my lips with his. I couldn't help but chuckle.

Julian pulled away and leaned his forehead against mine, his eyes closed as if savoring the moment, while I covered his cheek with my palm. "You are my happily ever after." He said, softly.

I couldn't help but smile. "Just promise me one thing."

He opened his eyes to look at me, his eyes holding an emotion so strong, it almost knocked all the wind out of me. "Anything."

"No more fake dating." I said.

He frowned. "But, darling. That's the reason why this story started in the first place." He answered with a smirk.

I rolled my eyes. "I'm serious."

Julian grinned this time an gave me a chaste kiss. "I promise." He answered and kissing me passionately this time.

After all, nothing good ever comes out of a fake relationship. Well, maybe except one.
