Chapter 45 ~ Star Bright, Five Nights

The sun then impaled the ocean as it started getting darker. The stars illuminated the sky above. It shined so brightly and so did that glimmer in his eyes. I've always trusted Leo, I had no reason not to, then he disappeared like a star that fell from the sky. When he was gone, it was like I lost myself. I haven't been myself since then. I moved on but my heart was stained by the past, I wasn't able to enjoy my present and I never looked toward to future... Now I may have a reason to, Mark and Leo, maybe their future. "Josh", says Leo.

"Oh hi, hey, what?", I ask.

"You zoned out. Are you okay?", he asks.

"Yeah. Yeah, I'm fine", I assure.

There he stood on one knee, asking me to marry him. Asking me to spend the rest of my life with him.

"Yes. Yes, Leo, I'll marry you", I smile.

"Oh yes! He said yes!", he shouts.

"You're getting all sappy now", I tease while hugging him.

He then slid his finger into mine and kiss me under the start sky. It shone brightly, just for us. Getting married was a rash decision but I trust him, once Leo puts his mind to something, there's no stopping him.

"Oh right. Your ring", he smiles.

"You bought me a ring?", I ask.

He opened the little box from his pocket and took out the most precious ring and slid it onto my finger.

"There. You're mine", he whispers in my ear.

My phone then rang. It was a Christian.

"Christian said we can come to pick up Mark now", I say to Leo.

"Very well. Let's go my prince.", he blushes.

We headed back to the hospital and picked up Mark.

"What did you say?", says Christian running up to me.

"You knew", I ask.

"Yes of course. So what did you say", he asks.

I then smiled and raised my hand, exposing the ring on my finger.

"Oh my god! Yes! We're getting married", he says while hugging me.

"What's going on?", asks Mark.

"Oh nothing little guy", says Leo messing up Marks's hair.

"You are big brother are getting married? Oh is this BL?!!?", Mark says with a shocked look on his face.

"Boys Love, you've been reading too much of my manga Mark", I say to Mark.

"It's good", he smiles.

"Yes, you're big brother is getting married. Are you okay with that?", I ask.

"Yes as long you both don't leave me", says Mark while grabbing both of our hands.

"Here's his meds Josh. Mark will be fine", says Christian.

"I'm glad to hear that", I smile.

We took Mark into Leo's car and drove off, heading back to New York.

"It's gonna be a long drive. You both should get some rest", says Leo.

Mark was already asleep.

"No, it's okay. I'll stay awake and keep you company babe", I say to him.

"Anytime strawberry", I blush.

It was a long drive but we were finally back at Leo's house.

"Mark. Wake up. We're home", I say while trying to get him to wake up.

"I wanna sleep", he fuses.

I enter Leo's house as Leo headed straight to the kitchen.

"I'll make us grilled cheese.", says Leo.

"Won't be better than mine though.", I tease.

"True. Put Mark down and we'll make it together.", he smiles.

I headed up the stairs with a smile on my face, I guess this is gonna be a good night.
