when i was 17, i used to go to a party every night.
not that i liked parties that much. but it was better than staying home.
what i liked about parties was the people,
Strange people.
like that one time when i chain smoked on the roof with some strange girl with blue hair and exorbitant large dark eyes,
i asked her about her day.
and i didn't regret it.
Often times you'll find the strangest of people have the most captivating story to tell
and that's how i met your father too,
