Kaya and Niall hate each other. He's her annoying next door neighbor who's made her life miserable ever since she was born. Kaya thinks Niall does it out of enjoyment. Or is it something else?

It's a Sunday night, meaning there's school tomorrow. I mean, it is Monday tomorrow, so obviously. I'm only saying this because I really don't feel like going to school, with what, being at the beach all weekend and my mind set on vacation-no-school-and-just-relax mode.
Now I have to go back on my regular mode, where I have to worry about stupid homework and stress out about passing all my classes. Damn high school.
I groan and plant my face on my pillow. Ah, but my bed feels greater than ever.
And does it feel like clouds when my alarm goes off at 6 AM. I can literally feel my heart shatter inside my chest.
I want to lay in this coziness and warmth forever. Or, to be more realistic, I want to sleep until afternoon or something along those lines.
Eventually, I sit up and look at my wall for a solid five minutes. I probably look like a dead zombie as my hair entangles in my face.
I realize that that isn't helping me at all, so I groan again like a fat monster and throw myself in the shower.
When I get out, I feel more energized. I pick out a simple outfit: a blue baseball tee that I got from Forever 21 with black skinny jeans. I leave my hair to dry out in its natural straight yet wavy composure. I honestly don't know what my hair is, it just does whatever it wants.
I don't feel like straightening it or putting any heavy make up on today. So I just put on a little eyeliner and I'm out the door and walking to school.
The walk there doesn't take long, and before I know it I'm already at my locker, talking to Cady while I shove my backpack in the small and narrow metal box.
She looks tired, and she's wearing sweatpants today—something she never does.
"It's my lazy day." is what she says when I look at her weirdly.
Lazy days are a rare thing for Cady. She always had a cute outfit on and you just knew she put a little effort into them.
Not today. A bun supports her blonde hair and she has black Ugg boots on her feet. Very little make up is to be seen on her face as well.
"I'm so flipping tired." She says when I close my locker. She leans her side on the lockers and closes her eyes while she frowns. "I can't do it today. I can't." She whines, softly banging her head on the lockers.
"Me too." I say, and she opens her eyes and frowns. She starts to talk again and we're in a conversation about Liam when someone approaches us and I realize it's Harry freaking Styles.
My breath is taken away, once again. Harry's wearing a green T-shirt that makes his broad shoulders stand out and his green eyes more, well, green. Other than his body looking ridiculously hotter than he had looked in the past few days, his hair is even curlier and his entire face is glowing.
