A girl, hiding from life, in a tall tree
A boy with eyes closed, not wanting to see
The world around has taken their spirit, their souls
All of the anger and hate has taken its toll
These children all broken and bent
And angels didn't receive the prayers they sent
They've both been beaten and thrown
They spend all of their life thinking they're alone
Not ever knowing the other one exists
Taking all of their sadness out on their wrists
The girl, the boy, both of them cry
And together they'll both tell one last lie
And tonight, this very night
They'll both die, ending their light.
