next week, the same girl from before walked through the door.
"you're back?" i smiled.
she gave me a fake smile and sat in the same chair as last time.
"what would you like?"
just like the last time, she took her phone out from her back pocket. this time, there was a picture of six birds. she pointed to where she wanted it, and i quickly got to work.
i finished it soon after and she payed.
she turned around but before she could leave, i asked her a question, "what's your purpose for getting these tattoos?"
she paused for a moment and gave me a smile before leaving.
