Years passed by quickly
And the trio of friends are...
Well...
No longer trio
As time goes by, they met new friends
They formed a squad or group and they named themselves EXO
12 boys all in all
All bestfriends with each other
"Xiumin hyung! Dyo keeps on hitting me!!"
One of his bestfriends yelled as he tried to get away with from an angry Dyo
"I wouldn't need to hit you if you didn't step inside MY kitchen!" Dyo spat and continued on hitting the taller one
"Yah Kyungsoo! Stop hitting my yoda!" Baekhyun, one of his new best friend, said and protected the taller by spreading his arms out in front of him
"Tch. Your lucky this time" Dyo glared and went back inside his house
They were currently in the park near Kyungsoo's house
Because a certain tanned male and troll wanted the entire group to "enjoy" the cloudy and cold weather
"Chanyeol! Be more careful!" Xiumin pinched the other in his arm and he yelped in the sudden pain
"What?! But I was hungry!" Chanyeol whined
"Then go eat Baekhyun" Xiumin smirked then left the taller in a blushing mess, including Baekhyun
"Minnie!!"
Xiumin turned around and saw Luhan walking towards his direction with his boyfriend, Sehun, following behind him
"Hey LuLu" Xiumin smiles and pats Luhan's head once be got nearer
"Where's Chen? I need to talk to him about something" Luhan asks
Xiumin thought for a bit before shaking his head meaning a no
Luhan sighs then grabs Sehun's hand
They said good bye before walking away to find Chen
"I wonder what they're gonna talk about.."
He shrugged off the thought and went to the swings where Kris and Tao were currently in
Meanwhile...
Luhan finally found Chen up in a tree branch not so far from the park the rest were in
"Chen! Come down! I need to talk to you about something!" Luhan half yelled
Chen nodded and went down the tree slowly, careful not to slip and fall
"What is it hyung?" He asks once his feet touched the ground
"You noticed right?"
"Noticed what?" Chen asks and tilts his head to the side
Luhan sighs as he glanced at Sehun before turning back to Chen
"We're running out of time.."
Chen froze
He didn't expect to hear those words so soon
He didn't want to run out of time
"R-Really?.."
Luhan nods and looks at Chen with pity and worry
He and Xiumin have been friends for so long..
And even when Kai warned him years ago..
It didn't prevent them from being the best of friends..
"How much time do we have left before we... Ya know.." Chen says, not wanting to say that particular word
"Two days before Xiumin hyung's birthday..."
Chen looks down at his feet
He doesn't know how to tell Xiumin their current situation
And he doesn't know what will be his reaction
"I-I... I don't know what to do hyung... I-I... I knew this day would come years ago... But.. now that it's so near.. I-I don't know what to do...." Chen trailed off when he saw Xiumin laughing from afar
His perfect features and his perfect laughter was so blinding by Chen
And he only noticed now that..
He fell in love with his bestfriend
But he knows it wouldn't work
Because of that big secret that the elder doesn't know
But he knows that he'll know someday
And that someday will be soon
