I bit into my sausage, cheddar and egg sandwich while washing it down with coffee. It was delicious by the way. It was a snow day. I was hanging out at Starbucks with my good friends Jake, Jinxx and CC. 

Munching on my food, my blue eyes follows him again Ashley. I've known his name from other workers there. Man, that Ashely is a real beauty. He makes my breakfast almost everyday I come here. We lock eyes  here and there, but never once said anything. I can't even talk to him, I'd sound so stupid. My eyes never left. His long flowy hair. The way his skin looks like delicious mocha, his dazzling smile he gives customers. I swallow hard.

"Damn you've got it bad,"

"Huh?" Jake and Jinxx starts laughing.

"I've been calling your name for 2 minutes."

Oh.

"Looking at your little breakfast maker I see."

"Shut up he's not my breakfast maker...he just makes what I order."

"Exactly." I glare at him.

"Look, just ask him out." Jinxx says sipping his coffee.

"No way, what if he says...what if he says no?"

"Then he says no." that earned CC a whack to the head.

"I know. No one likes rejection, but If you don't say anything, you're gonna spend probably the rest of your life wondering what could've been."

I sighed. Jake had a point. I'd hate to miss a chance and end up seeing Ashley with another dude...or women. I didn't even know if he went that way. My eyes went to Ashley again. His dark brown eyes lands on mines and smiles. I blush looking away.

When me and the guys were done, I stayed behind. My heart was racing. Why am I so nervous?

"Are you looking to order something else?"

I was startled by the voice and almost dropped my beverage.

"Oh, I'm sorry, didn't mean to scare you."

"T-That's ok...no you didn't scare me. Um..no I was just sitting here."

"But I've notice you were here with some friends."

"Actually...I..." shit.

"You what?"

"Um...I just wanted to say...you're really..really c-cute and if it's cool, can I...maybe..take you out?"

The other looked at me for a while and giggled. My heart sinks. He laughed at me.

"You're cute." he smirks. "I've noticed you coming in here for a while...always looking at me like you wanted to say something. Finally, I know what it is."

Soooo...?

"Well...I guess that's a no..-"

"I'd love to." he smiles brightly, making me smile, feeling hopeful again. "Really? Me? this guy?" he nods laughing.

"Yes...well you probably know my name already but I wanna know yours."

"Andy...well Andrew, but I'd prefer Andy." I smiled.

"Ok..Andy.." he smiles back. My name sounded perfect in his mouth...I start to wonder how it sounds in other ways. Wait Andy, stop being a creep.

"Here's my number." he hands me a paper with his name and everything. I looked at the paper like it it was food and I haven't ate in days.

"Great, so I'll call you." I smiled, putting the paper in my pocket.

"Good..don't keep me waiting too long." trust. I won't.

I left the shop giving Ashley a quick bye and met up with the guys.

"You guys stayed here?"

"About time! I'm freezing my nuts off."

"Hush up CC, let's see that paper; I know he gave you something."

I smirked pulling out the paper show it to them

"Awesome man! See, things worked out. I smiled huge looking at the paper.
