Off We Go!

"We wouldn't want your brother to get hurt, now would we?" The man asks in a smug voice.
I feel my adrenaline race as I run towards James who's eyes are wide with fear, I untie his hands and check to see if he's hurt. I sigh in relief once I see he's fine other then a small cut on his chin.
The man steps towards me and I pull out my pistol aiming it at him.
"I'll ask one more time, who are you?!" I demand angrily.
"Why I'm Blood Arrow, you've probably heard of me?" The man Blood Arrow asks smirking.
"You're Blood Arrow? Why am I not impressed?"
He's supposedly the leader of the most violent, cold hearted gang in all of the U.S.
What is he doing here?
"Your father, I'm looking for him. Where is he?" Blood Arrow asks scowling.
"Haven't seen him." I lie.
"Where is he."
"I don't know, and even if I did I wouldn't tell you."
"Then I guess you're of no use to me."
He aims a handgun at James.
"No!" I yell tackling James to the ground.
BANG!
I cry out when I feel a sharp pain in my back.
"RAYA!"
I hear Luke's voice behind me and I turn in time to see Luke punch Blood Arrow in the face knocking him to the ground.
Blood Arrow clutches his nose while glaring up at Luke.
"You! Who are you?" Blood Arrow demands standing up with a wobble still holding his nose.
"I'm a friend of Silvereyes." Luke growls before punching him again knocking him out.
...well for a gang leader you think he would've put up more of a fight?
"James, are you hurt?" I ask rolling off, but flinch when the pain shoots through my back.
"Yeah, are you okay?" James asks siting up.
"D*mn it, why am I always saving you?" Luke asks as he runs over seeing the blood.
"You're awesome?" I ask laughing, but quickly stop from the pain.
"Can you take the bullet out?" I ask as he checks the wound.
"I don't have the supplies with me, we'll have to get you back to camp." Luke answers scooping me up in his arms.
"Great." I mutter and he chuckles.
"Afraid of getting grounded?" Luke asks and I nod.
"Yep, I'm so dead." I mumble.
"You'll be fine."
"Easy for you too say!" I exclaim getting annoyed.
"What's that supposed to mean?"
"It means you're-."
"Before you continue that sentence I will warn you I can drop you on your face." Luke warns and I glare.
"You wouldn't dare!"
"Wanna bet?"
"Yes." I answer without hesitation.
"You're irritating!"
"I love you too." I chuckle shaking my head.
"Yeah yeah whatever."
"Is she gonna be okay?" James asks worriedly.
"Yeah, she'll probably just end up with a scar. You okay little buddy?" Luke asks observing James.
"I'm fine, just worried." He answers as we continue towards the base.
"RAYA! WAKE UP!"
I open my yes sitting up and looking around in a panic to see Jo, Jaecee, Saiylor and Nathan dressed in their Halloween costumes.
"What?" I ask sitting up as Tyson walks out of the bathroom wearing a Prince Charming outfit.
When Jaecee looks up she bursts out laughing.
"What's so funny?" Tyson asks confused with his cheeks red.
"I'm more manly then you!" She laughs.
"......" Tyson remains silent as Avery, James and Justin walk in wearing their costumes.
Justin's wearing black jeans, black leather boots, a black tshirt, leather jacket and a black wolf mask.
"That's a lot of black." I state and he looks over at me.
"Finally you're awake!" He smirks pulling off the mask.
"No time to talk! Raya get dressed!" Jo orders shoving me into the bathroom along with my costume bag.
I quickly wash up before getting dressed and curling my hair.
I walk out fixing my gloves.
"Whoa."
I glance up to see Justin staring at me with his mouth agape.
"What?" I ask frowning.
"He thinks you look beautiful!" Jo exclaims and I give her a glare.
Nathan readies an arrow before letting it fly hitting Jo in the back.
"Why did you do that?" Jo asks confused while picking up the arrow.
"You will now fall for my charms!" Nathan says in a singsong voice.
"Oh really?" Jo asks before chasing him with the arrow.
"Maybe they shouldn't give weapons to immature people even on Halloween." Justin suggests.
Jo turns to glare at him.
Uh oh.
"Did you just call me immature?!"
"Um....maybe?" Justin hides behind me grabbing my shoulders.
"You'll DIE!"
"Johanna I know he's acting like a child, but please don't kill him." I say worried that if she doesn't calm down soon someone's gonna lose an eye.
"Why not?"
"Because...then you and I couldn't play some hilarious pranks on him and the other boys?" I suggest and she smirks.
"I'm already planning the first hundred."
"First hundred?!" Justin exclaims.
"I'm dead." He mumbles resting his head on my shoulder and I pat him feeling a bit guilty.
Poor guy.
I glance over hearing a phone ring to see Luke throw the blankets off himself and grab his phone.
"Who are you texting?" I ask in a teasing voice and he shakes his head.
"Monroe."
"Oh, what'd she say?"
"She's wondering why the heck you haven't texted her yet." Luke answers reading the text.
"....I fell asleep." I mumble embarrassed.
Luke starts typing and my eyes widen.
"Don't tell her that!"
"Well I've already told her all about you and Justin-."
"Wait what?" I ask confused.
"What'd you say?" I ask when he remains silent.
"That's for me to know and you to not." He smirks.
"You jerk!" I tackle him to the ground before snatching his phone away.
I quickly typed in 5466 and laugh when it unlocks.
"You sir have never in your life changed your password." I state shaking my head.
"How do you remember his password?" Justin asks raising an eyebrow.
Easy, it spells lion.
"It's from an old nickname I used to call him, isn't that adorable?" I ask giving Luke a huge hug and I notice Justin's glare.
"How come he gets a hug?" Justin pouts grabbing my hand and pulling me away.
"Awe you poor pup." I say teasingly as I fix his wolf mask.
"Pup?"
"Yep!" I smile and he leans down before whispering in my ear.
"I don't think so."
He pulls back his lips brushing my cheek.
I feel my eyes widen as I stare up into his ice blue eyes.
"Uh Raya? Why are you blushing?" Jaecee asks raising an eyebrow with a knowing smirk.
"I-I'm not blushing!" I exclaim defensively.
"Yes you are!"
"No I'm not!"
"Yes ya are!"
I lunge forward ready to tackle her, but Justin and Luke hold me back.
"Chill! No killing!"
"I'm not gonna kill her." I mutter.
Why would they think that?
"You should calm down, we're about to leave."
"Yeah, and you can text Monroe while we're in the car?" Luke suggests and I nod in agreement before realizing Luke's the only one not wearing a costume.
"Where's your costume?" I ask as we walk out.
"What'd you expect me to wear? A teddy bear outfit?" Luke asks raising an eyebrow.
"Oh! You could be the cowardly lion!" I exclaim and he blushes.
"No. Just no."
"Please?"
"Raya?"
"What?"
"No."
I sigh rolling my eyes as I hop into the car.
Off to the haunted Halloween house we go!
