SHOW YOUR READERS THAT YOU'RE NOT A ROBOT!
Perhaps you don't get any comments? Or maybe votes? Nobody will get in touch with you? Well, there is a reason for this...
Your readers see the empty comments box, and feel as if they shouldn't comment either... I mean, if no one else is doing it, there must be a reason!
They don't want to vote. Don't want to notice their presence...
This is probably because maybe you don't show them you're a human. You just spill out writing, but never reach out to anyone, or acknowledge them. Readers like to be acknowledged.
So show them that you won't eat them if they comment on your story.
It is so important to thank people for voting, leaving a comment, or even adding your story to their library. It shows them that you're not just a robot, or a monster, or an account. It shows you're a human being.
So acknowledge people! They like being noticed! And be grateful for all the positive things they do for you!
