"J-Jungkook. It's... Been awhile."

"Mina." Jungkook sighed, tapping his fingers along the side of the coffee cup that he just ordered. It was truthful, he and Mina hadn't talked once since they broke up, although they didn't exactly end off on bad terms.

He couldn't help but observe the slight changes in her appearance. The hair that once cascaded down her back now only reached her shoulders, now lightened to a light brown as well. He raised an eyebrow at the new silver stud piercing through the cartilage of her right ear. But most of all, she looked happy, and Jungkook was glad about that.

"Do you have plans?" He asked, shooting a glance over to an empty table. "Or could you stay for a little while longer?"

Mina smiled softly, checking her watch before nodding.

"I think I could spare a bit of my time for you." She responded, taking a sip of the drink she ordered as Jungkook walked beside her towards the empty table.

"How've you been?" Jungkook asked once they sat down, "You look great."

Mina giggled softly, picking of a few strands of her hair and observing it.

"Thank you. It's different isn't it? But I thought I needed a bit of a change." She sighed, Jungkook nodding in response and leaning on his elbow.

"Change can be good." He spoke, Mina's smile turning a bit sadder as she nodded.

"It can." She nodded. "But how have I been? Pretty good actually. I think I may have found someone, but nothing's official yet." Jungkook couldn't help but smile, noticing the blush on her cheeks.

"What's he like?" He asked, raising an eyebrow as Mina suddenly looked away, blush darkening. "What?"

Mina bit her lip, giggling softly.

"She's really nice." She whispered, smiling at the shocked expression that overtook Jungkook's face. "I'm sorry..."

"It's fine." Jungkook laughed, "Believe me."

"I'm bisexual." She confessed, " I didn't tell you because whenever I tell a guy they always take it the wrong way.. I was scared that you'd leave me, which happened eventually anyway but you know what I mean." Mina looked away for a moment, sighing. "I was planning on telling you eventually I promise, I'd feel bad if I kept a secret like that."

"You don't have to explain yourself Noona." Jungkook smiled, "Besides, it would be kind of idiotic of me to judge for that, considering that I have a boyfriend."

Mina's eyes widened.

"I knew it!" She exclaimed, eyes lighting up. Jungkook raised an eyebrow, brushing a few strands of hair out of his eyes. "I could tell that Jimin liked you more than just as a best friend Jungkook." She smiled, "Is it him?"

"How could you tell that he liked me?" Jungkook asked, Mina rolling her eyes.

"I guess you didn't see the way he looked at you." She shrugged. "I remembered being a bit worried because - I can say this now because we're not together - Jimin's... A pretty attractive guy. I was worried you'd fall for him instead." Jungkook smiled sheepishly. "I was right."

"Yeah." Jungkook smiled softly. "I'm sorry."

Mina shook her head, taking another sip of her drink, getting whipped cream on her nose in the process.

"Don't be. You can't control who your heart leans towards, if you try to it'll only hurt everyone involved." She sighed, raising an eyebrow and laughing softly when Jungkook leaned forwards and swiped the whipped cream off of her face with his thumb.

"I just wish you broke up with me before you started seeing him." She mumbled, Jungkook's smile dropping. "Because it hurt you know? You'd go on dates with me, but sometimes I'd see marks peeking out from under your shirt that I didn't make. I'd tell myself 'No. My Jungkookie wouldn't do that, he's a nice guy.'" Mina bit her lip softly. "And you are a nice guy, that just wasn't a smart move on your part... But anyway, how are you and Jimin?"

Jungkook sighed, worrying his bottom lip.

"We're going through a bit of a rough patch right now." He responded, smiling when Mina reached across the table to rest her hand on his forearm.

"I hope everything works out." She beamed, leaning further over the table and pushing his cheeks up so that his lips formed a smile. "I want to see you happy! Your smile has always been my favourite feature of yours."

"Thank you." Jungkook grinned, Mina mirroring the expression and moving her hands away from his face.

"It's no problem." Mina responded. "Just because we're not dating anymore doesn't mean I can't be there for you."

-

"I don't want anything to be tense between us Jungkook."

Jimin sighed, running his hand through Jungkook's hair as the two of them sat on his couch. "I... I don't even care if you can't say I love you anymore. I just want things to go back to how they were before all this happened. I want to hear your laugh, and see you smile. I want you to kiss me, and hug me, and touch me. I don't want you to be afraid to do so."

"I just still feel really bad." Jungkook mumbled, looking into the older's eyes when Jimin turned around so that they faced each other.

"Don't." Jimin sighed, reaching forward and intertwining their fingers. "If you're not ready, I won't force you into anything. I can wait."

It was the last three words that Jimin spoke that had Jungkook's heart fluttering, a warmth spreading throughout his entire body as Jimin's hand moved up to his bicep, sneaking glances at Jungkook's lips as he leaned closer.

Jungkook couldn't help but smile, looking into Jimin's eyes as their noses brushed, lips millimetres apart.

"Thank you." He breathed, watching Jimin's expression carefully as he rested his hand on the older's waist.

"Anything for you." Jimin answered, smiling softly before closing the small gap between the two of them.

It felt like it had been forever since he last felt Jimin's lips on his, tilting his head to deepen the kiss as he rubbed circles into the skin of Jimin's side with his thumb. It reminded him of the kiss that they shared on Jimin's couch all those months back. It wasn't lust that was poured into the kiss, it was definitely love.

Jungkook pulled away once he felt a salty taste against his tongue, opening his eyes and frowning once he noticed the tears on Jimin's face.

"Hyung please don't cry." He spoke softly, bringing his hand up to wipe some of the tears off of his boyfriend's face. "Why are you crying?"

"I don't know." Jimin whispered, looking at Jungkook through glossy eyes. "I guess I kept them in for too long. They needed to be let out."

Jungkook nodded softly, lifting up Jimin's hand and intertwining their fingers before bringing it to his lips and pressing a kiss to Jimin's knuckles.

"Thank you for staying beside me." Jungkook mumbled against Jimin's skin, more tears escaping his eyes as the younger's words graced his ears.

But this time, he was sure that they weren't from sadness.

They couldn't be, with all of the butterflies swarming in his stomach.
