he turns around in his chair.

"can you watch elizabeth for me? your sister and i are going out."

"sure, honey. and make sure cara doesn't do anything stupid!"

she laughs as she walks out, waving her left hand,

the two rings she had visibly showing.

christian smiled at the sight of it.

"wait! almost forgot something."

klarissa ran back in and pulled her husband into a deep kiss, then departing for her sister-in-law.

"take good care of liz, okay? we both know you can be an idiot at some times."

just as he was nodding, a little girl, about the age of five, comes scurrying out of the bathroom.

"mommy! daddy! i went wee-wee in the toywet!"

liz jumped up and down, clearly happy.

the two parents picked her up and embraced her,

laughing and celebrating their daughter's great accomplishment.
