Alden

"It's okay hon, finish what you have to do. I will take the twins for a day out, that way you will not be disturbed."  I tell Maine.

She received an email last night from the company she's doing a consulting job for and they were requesting for a video call meeting with her.  Normally, she said, she'll ask Frances to babysit, or if Frances is not available, she'll bring the twins to a daycare.

"Are you sure?"

"Yes, of course.  I'll bring MamaTen and Sam with me."  I said, assuring her.  I grab her by the waist, pulling her against me.

"Okay, thanks hon!"  She tiptoed and gave me a kiss.  "Okay,  I am going to set up now. If you need something just call me."

"We will be fine. Don't worry okay?" I said, tucking a strand of hair behind her ear.

"Alright." She tells me. "Enjoy guys! Enzo and Katie, I want you to behave okay?"

"Okay mommy!" The twins replied in unison.

I took both of the twins hand and we walked out towards the waiting elevators.

I am really excited for this day out. It is my first time to be "just daddy" with the twins and we will do everything that kids do when they're "just with daddy."

"Daddy?"  Katie asked, tugging my hand.

"Yes princess?"

"When we go to Phiyippines, are we going to wide an aypwayne?"

"Yes princess, we are going to ride an airplane."

"But, but daddy, I don't want to wide an aypwyane! I'm scawed!"  Katie whined.

"Don't wowwy Katie, when we wide an aypwyane I wiw hold your hands. Don't be scawed, oh-kay?" Enzo tells his sister, holding her hand. He smiled at her and tilts his head.

He is such a very sweet and affectionate boy. I know for sure that when he grow up, the lady that will capture his heart will be a very lucky girl.

"See Katie? You don't have to be scared. Enzo will hold your hand, plus mommy and daddy will be there so you don't have to worry, okay?" I tell her.

"Pwomise Enzo?" Katie asked, holding out her pinky.

"Pwomise Katie." Enzo replied, looping his pinky to Katie, sealing his promise to his sister.

We walk out of the elevators and out to the streets. The twins wanted to go to the play lot again and so we are heading that way.

"Alam mo Alden, napakaswerte mo. Super adorable ng mga anak mo oh! Hay! Alam mo for sure pag nalaman na yan sa Pilipinas, dudumugin ka ng sangkaterbang request ng meeting ng mga baby companies for product endorsements!" Sam blurted, his eyes teasing.

"Hoy Leysam! Tigil tigilan mo nga yan. My kids will not enter my crazy world. As much as possible, I will not put them out there. I want them out of limelight, away from the camera and the probing eyes of media."
